Tina Fey Wins Best Actress & Writer For 30 Rock

The extremely talented Tina Fey walked away with best actress in a comedy series and writing for a comedy series for 30 Rock on Sunday at the 60th Annual Emmy Awards.
“I’m very proud to be a writer. I wouldn’t have had any of the other jobs I’ve had if I hadn’t been a writer,” Fey gushed.
Overall, the top winners were those with the most nominations: NBC’s hit comedy series 30 Rock won seven Emmys in total and AMC’s sleek 1960s drama Mad Men took home six.
Emmys were also handed out to Glenn Close for best actress in a drama series for her performance in Damages. Bryan Cranston was named winner of the best actor in a drama award for his performance in the new series Breaking Bad. Alec Baldwin won for best actor in a comedy series for 30 Rock.
In the supporting categories, awards were given to Dianne Wiest for best supporting actress in a drama for In Treatment, Jean Smart for best supporting actress in a comedy for Samantha Who?, Jeremy Piven for best supporting actor in a comedy for Entourage and Zeljko Ivanek for best supporting actor in a drama for Damages.
