Miley Cyrus Wants To Quit Hannah Montana

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has been thinking about calling it quits from the hit Disney show after she received public criticism over her controversial photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine.

The 15-year-old actress told her Hannah Montana co-star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle she is “hurting” and feeling a little down of late.

Anna Maria, who plays Miley’s sidekick Ashley Dewitt on the popular kid’s television show, says, “Sometimes I’ll talk to her on the phone and she’ll be like, ‘It’s really hard’ or ‘I’m really tired. I can’t do this.’

“It really hurt her inside,” says Perez de Tagle. “She didn’t know that people would look at it like that.”

Miley has since apologized to her fans, saying she is “embarrassed” by the semi-nude Vanity Fair photos.

Miley Cyrus Stars In “Got Milk?” Ad

After appearing in a racy Vanity Fair photoshoot spread, teen sensation Miley Cyrus is trying to remind fans of her wholesome side.

The “Hannah Montana” star is to front the latest “Got Milk?” advertising campaign.

Miley sports the campaign’s famous milk-moustache in a dressing room. The new ad reads:

Girl Power
Actress by day. Rocker by night. I’ve got to keep fit to keep up. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. It’s the best of both worlds.

The “Got Milk?” ad campaign, which has been running since 1993, is credited with pumping up milk sales in the U.S. after a 20-year slump. According to the Got Milk website, the campaign has over 90% awareness in the U.S.

Hugh Hefner Wants Miley Cyrus For Playboy Magazine

Hugh Hefner has offered Miley Cyrus the chance to pose naked for Playboy magazine, as soon as she turns 18.

Playboy’s 82-year-old founder called the 15-year-old a “very pretty lady” and claimed that she would be “welcomed” by the legendary men’s magazine when she reaches the legal age.

The Hannah Montana star has been facing harsh criticism for appearing topless on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

Commenting on the controversy surrounding her poses for Vanity Fair, the Playboy boss said, “I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos, and I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality.”

Disney has confirmed that teen sensation Miley Cyrus will not be attending her first scheduled public appearance since the whole Vanity Fair half-nude photo scandal.

Disney bosses reportedly want to replace troubled teen star Miley Cyrus with a more clean-cut actress.

The network is worried about the Hannah Montana star’s recent controversies, and wants to replace her with fellow teen sensation Selena Gomez, who stars as Alex Russo in Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place.

E! Online reports, “Selena sings and acts and is really young. She is going to be the next Miley Cyrus. [Disney executives] really want this.”

Could this be the beginning of the end for Miley Cyrus? Say it ain’t so!

Miley Cyrus Wants Hannah Montana To Be More Like Sex And The City

The 15-year-old actress/singer stars as schoolgirl who leads a secret double life as a pop star in the Disney Channel hit, which is aimed at girls between the ages of six and 14.

However, Miley Cyrus is obsessed with the more adult Sex and the City, which often contained racy love scenes, and hopes to incorporate elements of the program into her own series.

She was quoted as saying, “Obviously not the scenarios. But, if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters - that’s a thing we try to do on our show. It’s my favorite show. I love it!”

Miley Cyrus Goes Topless For Vanity Fair Magazine

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus has apologized for a provocative photo spread shot by famed photographer Annie Liebovitz, which will appear in the June 2008 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

The 15-year-old Hannah Montana star said in a statement, “My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz].

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

In one of the photos, Miley Cyrus is seen with a blanket wrapped around her chest and shown in such a way that she appears to be topless.

The Disney Channel, after learning of the Vanity Fair photo spread and article also issued a statement critical of the magazine. “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines,” the statement said. …on the edge of your seat? Joe Jonas of The Jonas Brothers has defended Miley Cyrus over the recent leaked naughty photos of the young Disney actress.

Joe insists “no one’s perfect” and the Hannah Montana star is no exception.

He says, “We’re good friends of hers, and we got her back and we love her to death.”

So what advice does Joe have for the 15-year-old?

“I think it’s just the way you come out of it,” he said. “As much as they say, no one’s perfect and everybody makes their mistakes. I think it’s the way you handle it and come out of it the proper and respectful way.”

A series of naughty photos featuring the teen sensation Miley Cyrus have hit the net, showing the Hannah Montana star wearing just a bra and underwear while draped across the lap of an unnamed male, and another in which she’s pulling down her tank top to reveal a lime green bra.

This isn’t the first time scantily clad photos of the 15-year-old Disney starlet have ended up online. Shots of Miley in a bikini and her underwear leaked from MySpace this past January. At the time, the singer said the photos were “nothing bad,” as she was just having a sleepover at a hotel with one of her best friends.

Miley Cyrus might want to slow her tractor-trailer roll on the road, and follow Hilary Duff’s lead rather than go down the Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan track.
