Amy Winehouse was convinced to check into a rehab clinic after Universal Music boss Lucian Grange confronted her with a huge selection of press reports.

After the confrontation, the troubled singer began to realize the extent of her drug problem.

“Lucian got his international marketing manager to find and copy every piece of press from around the world. It took the guy two days,” a Universal source told The Sun.

“Lucian then laid everything out in his huge office and summoned Amy. He told her to have a good look, and then tell him she hasn’t got a problem with drugs. It did the trick.”

Amy Crackhouse checked into a rehab clinic on Thursday. She was forced to cancel a scheduled appearance Saturday at the NRJ music awards in France.
