Mary-Kate Olsen’s friends and family are afraid that she has been hurled into a dark depression as she continues to struggle with the death of actor Heath Ledger.
The actress, who has been treated in the past for eating disorders and drug and alcohol addictions, is reportedly being haunted by memories of her former lover as his image is featured prominently in the marketing campaign for The Dark Knight, which is breaking box office records left and right.
Sources claim that she and The Dark Knight actor were secret lovers when he died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in his New York apartment on January 22nd, 2008.
“I’m just completely shattered about Heath,” Mary-Kate is quoted as saying in Grazia magazine. “I loved him so much. We had this amazing connection and now he’s gone. I just can’t get over him.”
