Rocker Travis Barker was released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia on Monday morning (September 29).

The former Blink-182 drummer spent nine days at the center after the plane crash on September 19th in Columbia, South Carolina, which took the lives of four people and severely burned Travis Barker and DJ AM. Barker underwent treatment for second and third degree burns on his torso and lower body. A spokesperson reported that “He left in good condition.”

According to a source close to the Barker family, the injured musician is “going to another hospital in L.A.” as “he wants to be home.” He is said to be traveling home to California on a private bus with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. “Travis is desperate to get back home to be near his kids,” an insider tells Life & Style magazine. “He and Shanna got a luxury bus with all the medical help he needs.”

DJ AM, who suffered burns to his upper body, was released from the same hospital late last week. The celebrity disc jockey recently made his first public appearance after the incident, attending the memorial service of plane crash victim Chris Baker, who served as an assistant to Travis Barker for several years.
