Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Get Rejected

Mom-to-be Nicole Richie and her fiancé Joel Madden have been denied their dream home — because locals are concerned about the constant presence of the paparazzi.

The couple recently made an offer on a home in a gated community in Southern California, but was turned down by their potential neighbors because of the unwanted attention their celebrity status would bring.

Nicole is reportedly furious at their decision.

A source tells US Weekly, “Nicole was livid because she loved the house. She thinks it’s a bullshit reason, but she couldn’t fight it.”

It’s a GATED community! How are the paps getting in? This sounds like a case of discrimination to me.
