Kid Rock has been arrested in Atlanta in connection with a brawl at a Waffle House in DeKalb County.
Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, and five members of his entourage were each taken into custody on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.
Police say Kid Rock stopped at the Waffle House at 5:15 AM on Sunday (Oct. 21) after performing that evening, and a male customer recognized a female in Rock’s entourage. Words were exchanged, and a fight ensued.
After cops were called, Kid Rock’s tour bus was pulled over, and he and the members of his entourage were arrested. In addition to Rock’s arrest, the male customer also has been charged with a felony for allegedly smashing a window of the restaurant.
According to TMZ, Kid Rock posted bail and was released Sunday (Oct. 21) evening from DeKalb County jail, signing autographs on his way out.

What self respecting redneck would not throw down and defend his honor in the presence of ****** at the Waffle House? This is so white trash but great media exposure for Kid Rock. He has a new album to pimp and news like this reinforces his “badass” monicker among his fans.
