
Take-Two’s “Grand Theft Auto IV” has lived up to the hype and raked in more than $500 million in its first week in stores.
The highly anticipated title sold more than 6 million units worldwide, including 3.6 million units on its opening day.
The game, which follows Eastern European immigrant-turned gangster Niko Bellic on crime missions around a fictional Liberty City, has received stellar ratings along with criticism for its violent content.
