Rap superstar Jay-Z is feeling the brunt of the economic slowdown in Europe, according to TheLondonPaper’s blog.
The London Paper says the rapper can’t find any clubs that are willing to pay his usual appearance fee of $45,000. He apparently lowered his price to $15,000, but still no takers.
A source tells the tabloid, “No club is willing to stump up the cash. At this rate he might even have to party for free.”
The hip-hop mogul is in the U.K. to promote the NBA’s New Jersey Nets (of which he is a part owner). His team plays the Miami Heat at The O2 on Sunday night.
