Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry Are Engaged

New mom Halle Berry is engaged to boyfriend Gabriel Aubry after he gave her a ring that belonged to his grandmother.

A source close to the couple is quoted as saying, “Gabriel felt the time was right to propose. He gave her the family heirloom because he wanted to show her how much she means to him, and how she will be accepted into the Aubry family.”

The Oscar winner was spotted wearing the diamond ring in Hollywood this past weekend. The couple met while shooting a commercial for Versace in November of 2005. Halle gave birth to their first daughter, Nahla Ariela, in March of 2008.
