Pop superstar will.i.am has premiered a music video for his song “She’s a Star,” which contains very profound and personal lyrics.
The black-and-white music video shows the Black Eyed Peas’ member frolicking along the shoreline. He sings passionately about the star of his life, whose love is like bling.
“She’s a Star” was produced by Polow Da Don. The song appears on will.i.am’s second solo studio album “Songs about Girls”, which is an infinitely expandable collection of songs.
“If I have an album filled with songs about girls, what happens if tomorrow I write another song about a girl?” will.i.am explains. “So something that started off just with 15 songs, in the next ten years could have 100 songs. Having 12 songs on a record? That day is done.”

Will.I.Am To Debut New Obama Video On Oprah
November 7th, 2008 | Posted in Television

A new will.i.am music video celebrating Barack Obama’s election as the 44th President of the United States will be premiered on “The Oprah Winfrey Show”. His representative broke the news to the Associated Press, saying that the Chicago-based show will debut the video on Friday, November 7th.
The Black Eyed Peas star called on his fellow celebrities to mark the monumental election by contributing to the project.
“This was inspired by America. It’s about Obama winning, and really paying tribute to those people who are responsible for that happening, and that’s the American people,” the My Humps hitmaker said. “The whole thing is really for people to leave testimonials… to create a page and leave testimonials on how they feel about this American accomplishment.”
will.i.am became a part of 2008 election saga when he released the video “Yes We Can” in February to millions of viewers on YouTube. Several stars including Ryan Phillippe, John Legend and Scarlet Johansson appeared in the video reciting lines from an Obama speech over will.i.am’s music.

Barack Obama Releases Official Soundtrack Album
September 21st, 2008 | Posted in Politics

Barack Obama’s presidential campaign is getting an official soundtrack, which features Kanye West, John Legend, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow and other big name stars.
It’s called “Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement.” The album takes its title from an Obama campaign slogan and will be available for sale exclusively through Obama’s web site.
The musical collection costs $24.99 for a digital download and $30 for a hard copy. Proceeds from the CD will help raise money for Obama’s campaign until “Election Day” November 4th, 2008.
Most of the songs on the disc have been previously released, such as Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours.” But a few of the songs are new, including John Legend’s “Pride in the Name of Love” and “Promised Land” by Malik Yusef featuring Kanye West and Adam Levine of Maroon 5.
Earlier this year, Obama inspired an all-star music video featuring John Legend, Scarlet Johansson, Kate Walsh, Common, and other celebs, led by the Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am and titled “Yes We Can,” which became a viral sensation, garnering millions of views on the Internet.
