Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker is expected to make a full recovery following a plane crash in South Carolina that killed four people.
The rocker suffered second and third degree burns after escaping death from a fiery Learjet around midnight Friday. He and Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, jumped from the door of the burning plane immediately after the crash.
Two other passengers, Travis Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, 29, and security guard Charles Still, 25, were killed. Pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, and co-pilot James Bland, 52, have also been pronounced dead.
Music producer Jermaine Dupri visited Travis Barker in the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors’ Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, and said he was “doing well”.
He told Us Weekly, “It’s a seriously sad situation. He’s doing good… but I really hate to see my friends go through this.”
Rapper The Game told AllHipHop.com, “I am deeply hurt by this tragedy. Travis Barker has always been there for me when I needed him creatively. We’ve done many songs together.
“Just recently he appeared in my video ‘Dope Boyz’ that he featured on. I respect and love him, my prayers are with him and his family in this difficult time for his speedy and complete recovery.”
According to Dr. Fred Mullins, both stars will make a full recovery from their injuries. He said, “Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn’t suffer from any other crash-related complications, a full recovery is expected.” When asked if the expected recovery time would be a year he added, “I would expect it would be much sooner than that.”

Music Video: The Game - 911 Is A Joke (Cop Killa)
The Game has released a music video for his controversial record, “911 Is A Joke,” which is a response to the acquittal of three New York City police officers involved in the 50-bullet shooting of Sean Bell.
“I’m outraged and speaking out for my generation that are afraid to speak out against police brutality and murder,” the rapper told AllHipHop.com. “I grew up in Compton and had to stay silent because of the fear that was prevalent in my community, but now that I have a voice I’m speaking out.”
The song features Black Wall Street artist Clyde Carson and The California Murda Crew (CMC).

The Game has wrote a song about the recent acquittal of three NYPD detectives on criminal charges related to the shooting death of unarmed groom-to-be Sean Bell.
The rapper dedicated the track “911 Is a Joke” to the Sean Bell family, who never received justice.
He tells AllHipHop.com, “I’m outraged and speaking out for my generation that are afraid to speak out against police brutality and murder.
“I grew up in Compton and had to stay silent because of the fear that was prevalent in my community, but now that I have a voice I’m speaking out.
“This could have easily been me, my brother, my family. So this song is for Sean Bell from my heart. My deepest condolences go out to his family and wife Nicole Bell.”

In the June 2008 issue of XXL Magazine, The Game breaks down during an interview conducted three days before starting a 60-day bid for a gun violation. Here’s the scoop:
“My life is fucked up right now,” he says. “I’m in a fucked up place. My fans love me, and I know what they want but in a minute, I’m not gonna be physically capable of pleasing the world with music. Because my mind isn’t right. People are driving me under God’s good earth.”
“Sometimes I wanna be at peace so bad that I wish myself off of the earth,” he continues. “I am the nobody in hip-hop. I sleep where I can. I’ll take a blanket if you got one. I’m homeless in hip-hop.”
“The tears coming from my left eye are from my shit that I’m dealing with in my life,” he says “and the tears down my right cheek are tears for hip-hop.”

Jail Time Is Over For The Game
March 10th, 2008 | Posted in Celebrity Gossip, Celebrity News, Music News

The Game has been released from jail after serving just eight days of his 60-day sentence, which is less than a fifth of his sentence.
The rapper was handed the prison term in February after pleading no contest to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.
According to TMZ.com, The Game is now a free man after being released early from the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The “How We Do” hip-hopster must now perform 150 hours of community service, and will be placed on three years’ probation as part of his plea deal.

The Game Sentenced To Prison!!! What A Shame!!!

The Game has been sentenced to serve 60 days in jail after pleading guilty to felony gun charges.
The rapper entered his plea in a Los Angeles courthouse and a judge ordered him to spend 60 days in jail and complete 150 hours of community service.
He has until March 3rd to turn himself into authorities to begin his sentence.
The Game claims that he pled guilty to save the expense of a lengthy trial that could put him behind bars for five years.
He says, “The crazy part about this is that I’ve had guns before in my life. But this time I didn’t have a gun.
“Because one person said I had a gun and coaxed his homies into saying that I had a gun, I’m in a predicament where I’m asking, ‘Do I want to spend another million dollars to fight this trial, so who knows what jury’s gonna come in and say I’m guilty? Or do I want to save my money, go sit down for four months and accept this felony they’re trying to give me for no reason?’”
