Hollywood socialite Tara Reid has checked herself into rehab following a drinking binge.
The troubled star’s publicist said Friday that the “American Pie” actress went to the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California. “We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time,” the 33-year-old’s rep Jack Ketsoyan said in a statement.
Rumor has it that the perennial party girl fell off the wagon about 10 days before she checked herself into rehab last Tuesday. The Chicago Sun-Times reports Reid was recently spotted partying at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana.
“She was clearly feeling no pain but didn’t do anything outrageous,” said an insider at the Horseshoe. “She just seemed like she was having perhaps too good a time with a bunch of friends.”

Hollywood actress Tara Reid has her panties in a knot over Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, insisting she has never done anything to deserve the bad press - unlike them.
She says, “What have I ever really done? Dance on a table? When Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton got their DUIs they got punished, they deserved it.
“But my punishment, I don’t feel like it fits the crime. I don’t understand why people punish others for being happy.”
In all fairness, Tara is portrayed as a career slut because of her slutty actions. If it talks like a slut, looks like a slut and gets out of the car like a slut, chances are its Tara Reid!!!

A bikini-clad Tara Reid, who is looking painfully thin, was spotted relaxing on a sun bed in Bali on Tuesday.
Tara has definitely seen better days. The former Hollywood hottie collapsed earlier in the week do to “exhaustion,” but I think the correct term is starvation.
Poor thing, I bet it hurts to be that good!

Tara Reid knows a dummy when she sees one (she looked in the mirror).
“I think the reason I never ended up in as much trouble as Paris [Hilton] or Lindsay [Lohan] is that I’m not stupid, so I’d never do a lot of the things those girls do,” she told FHM Magazine. “You’ll never read a story about me going out and partying when I’m supposed to be working, showing up on a set drunk or missing a day, never”
“But when I’m not working, why shouldn’t I have fun? Am I supposed to stay at home and live in a cage? I was a party girl but I played by the rules.”
This coming from a girl who has botched implants and a collection of one-night stands… What a hot airbrushed mess!
