Chris Brown And Rihanna Sued For $1 Million After Photographer Beatdown

R&B superstars Rihanna and Chris Brown are being sued for $1 million by a Florida photographer, who claims that their security attacked him and stole his camera earlier this year.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, Luis Santana alleges that bodyguards for the duo stole his $3,000 camera after he took a photo of the couple through an open window of their limousine from outside Chris Brown’s 19th birthday party at the Vintage Ultra Lounge on May 6th.
The 26-year-old photographer wants his stolen camera replaced and compensation for the photo he lost. Apparently, the picture was worth a lot of money since it showed the two lovebirds together before they publicly confirmed their romantic relationship.
Rihanna’s publicist, Jonathan Hay, has called the lawsuit a “really unfortunate event”. He added, “I do believe that this matter is completely blown out of proportion and I strongly believe that we need to focus on the positive things in the world not the negative things.”

Rihanna Premieres Her ‘Rehab’ Music Video

Pop superstar Rihanna has premiered a music video for her latest single “Rehab”.
The video, which features Justin Timberlake playing Rihanna’s love interest, was directed by Anthony Mandler and shot last month at Vasquez Rocks Park outside Los Angeles.
The song was written and produced by Timbaland and Timberlake, who also contributed backing vocals in the bridge.
“Rehab” is the eight single taken from Rihanna’s third major studio album “Good Girl Gone Bad”, which has been available in stores since June 5th, 2007.

Chris Brown Spends $800 On Lingerie For Rihanna

R&B superstar Chris Brown has reportedly bought his girlfriend Rihanna $800 worth of sexy lingerie on a recent shopping spree.
An onlooker tells The Sun newspaper, “Chris was at top Sydney store Ariane Lingerie and purchased a selection of saucy items.”
Straight from his successful tour of Australia and South East Asia together with the “Umbrella” singer, Chris Brown is in for a rocking bedtime!
The “Superhuman” hitmaker recently signed a deal to launch his own line of lingerie that will feature sexy pieces for ladies everywhere.

Rihanna Cancels Indonesian Concert Over Security Concerns

Pop superstar Rihanna has canceled a concert in Indonesia over security concerns.
The 20-year-old singer was scheduled to perform in front of a sold-out crowd of 6,000 in the capital Jakarta on Friday, November 14th.
However, she decided to scrap the show following a travel advisory that was issued in several countries after the weekend executions of three Islamic militants who were convicted in the 2002 Bali bombings. The warning came amid concerns that followers of the dead men might attempt revenge attacks.
Dive Purnomo, a spokeswoman for the event organizer, said she hoped the “Umbrella” hitmaker would make a return to Indonesia sometime in January.

Rihanna & Chris Brown Arrive In Perth And Dominate People’s Choice Awards Nominations

“Disturbia” pop goddess Rihanna and hip-hop sensation Chris Brown have been spotted arriving at Perth Airport in Australia on November 10, 2008.
The singers, who are on tour together, are set to take the stage before a sold-out crowd Tuesday night at the Burswood Dome.
Meanwhile, the chart-topping duo garnered the most nominations for the 2009 People’s Choice Awards announced Monday. They will vie for at least four awards a piece, including Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Male Star.
Winners will be revealed during the live broadcast hosted by Queen Latifah of the 34th Annual People’s Choice Awards from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Wednesday, January 7 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rihanna Is New Face Of Gucci’s UNICEF Ad Campaign

R&B beauty Rihanna has been selected as the new face for fashion house Gucci’s new campaign for The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The 20-year-old singer will be seen posing for the Italian designer’s Tattoo Heart range of products. A quarter of all profits made from the collection will be donated to the children’s charity.
On being asked why they specifically chose the Disturbia hitmaker, Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said her “strong personality” was a good fit for the organization because “a musician and a beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign.”
Gucci saw the Barbadian star at a UNICEF fundraiser earlier this year and sought her out to be a part of the drive to raise awareness for children’s rights.

Rihanna Goes Dominatrix At Vector Arena

R&B beauty Rihanna was spotted performing at Vector Arena on October 27th, 2008 in New Zealand.
The Barbados-born singer wore a dominatrix-style outfit with thigh-high boots that caught the attention of the audience more than her singing.
She wowed the crowd with a rendition of Disturbia and brought the house down with her new single Rehab, which was written by pop superstar Justin Timberlake.

T.I. Premieres His ‘Live Your Life’ Music Video Featuring Rihanna

Rap superstar T.I. has released a music video for his smash hit “Live Your Life” featuring R&B beauty Rihanna. The music video was shot earlier this month in Los Angeles with director Anthony Mandler.
“The concept is kind of complicated because it’s so metaphorical. It goes back to the whole T.I. vs. T.I.P. thing. You know how sometimes people think that a record deal will just change their life and be the answer to all of their prayers?” said the rapper, whose sixth major studio album “Paper Trail” is in stores now. “Well, you have Tip in that position representing all the kids in the hood who feel that the answer to get out the hood is a record deal. Or it could be a football or basketball contract or whatever that ticket is for them.”
The story line features another character who’s wearing an expensive suit and driving a luxurious car, but still doesn’t have peace of mind. “That’s the T.I. character—he’s gotten himself into something that he doesn’t want to be in no more and now he’s trying to buy his way back out. The person who he’s trying to buy his way back out from, coincidentally, is the person who the Tip character is coming to see about the record deal,” the rapper added.
The “Whatever You Like” hitmaker likens the plot to a Quentin Tarantino film. He was quoted as saying, “It’s like Pulp Fiction how all the stories cross. It’s being told from the last scene to the first scene and both of the stories kind of intertwine along with Rihanna’s.”

R&B superstar Rihanna was reportedly spotted cuddling with rapper Kanye West backstage at a T.I. concert at the Key Club in Hollywood, California on October 3rd.
“Rihanna and Kanye hung out together after they performed their songs,” an insider tells Star magazine. “Rihanna was sitting on Kanye’s lap, singing along to the music. Before long, the two were full-on kissing each other.”
The source adds, “People were shocked. After a while, Rihanna must have realized people were watching, because she had her security escort her back to the dressing room.”
The “Disturbia” hitmaker was previously rumored to be dating R&B singer Chris Brown.
