Newlywed Mariah Carey has revealed that she likes to celebrate the holiday season by stripping down with her closest friends.
The singer, who married actor Nick Cannon earlier this year, is looking forward to her first Christmas as a wife. “I always get Santa lingerie, even if nobody sees it,” the 39-year-old tells Redbook magazine for its December issue. “But this year it will be appreciated!”
Stripping down for Xmas is apparently a Mariah Carey holiday tradition. “[My girlfriends and I] go in the hot tub in our Christmas bikinis, then roll in the fresh snow and jump back in,” says the pop diva, whose Yuletide swimwear usually consists of “a red bikini with a Santa hat.”
However, that doesn’t mean the “Touch My Body” hitmaker isn’t excited about starting new holiday traditions with Nick Cannon. “I’m really looking forward to being in love on Christmas,” she says. “The holidays are always great, but being in love … is going to be the icing on the cake.”
