Nelly Admits He And Ashanti Are Getting Serious

Rap star Nelly and R&B star Ashanti have kept their romance under wraps, but the rapper is finally ready to dish. The “Hot in Herre” hitmaker admitted that the two have been “hanging out for a minute.”
He also admitted that their below-the-radar relationship is getting serious without exception.
“I think it’s always serious,” he tells People magazine, “when you can hang with a person continuously … and ["still"] have fun.”
In the past, Ashanti has called Nelly a “good friend.” However, she revealed to People magazine that an engagement could “definitely [be] in the future.” They have been romantically linked since 2003.

Nelly Named Sean John Underwear Spokesmodel

Rap superstar Nelly has been named the first ever spokesmodel for hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Sean Jean Underwear line.
The Hot in Herre rapper insists that he is delighted to be associated with the brand.
He told AllHipHop.com, “I’ve been a big fan of Diddy and the Sean John clothing line for years.
“So, when they asked me to work with them, it was a real honor. I hope my fans will enjoy this campaign as much as I did shooting it.”
Needless to say, Diddy is equally pleased with the appointment of Nelly as spokesmodel for his upcoming fall collection of Sean John Underwear.
He said, “I have known Nelly for many years and I really admire his work. To me, Nelly is the quintessential definition of the Sean John man.
“He has the attitude, the swagger, and most of all the physique that our customers can both aspire and relate to. And let’s be honest, all of the ladies out there are going to be thanking us for this campaign.”

Ashanti Opens Up About Her Relationship With Nelly

R&B singer Ashanti has been tight-lipped about her relationship with rapper Nelly, but she recently opened up to People magazine.
The 27-year-old told reporters, “Me and Nelly, we’re good friends. We kick it – hang out a lot.
“The industry is very hard, so it’s good to have fun and lighten it up.”
Ashanti also addressed rumors that she and the rapper are engaged to be married.
Holding up a ring-free left hand, the singer told the press, “Oh no. Noooo! No engagement.” Then she added with a devilish smile, “But definitely in the future. Ha! Ha!”
