Lindsay Lohan - Bossy
Pop star Lindsay Lohan has released the first single, “Bossy,” off her forthcoming untitled third album, which is scheduled for release later this year.
The synth-heavy dance track was written by R&B sensation Ne-Yo, who had the Mean Girls actress in mind.
He tells People magazine, “I wrote it for her because when she’s on her game, you can see these traits in her. When she’s focused, she exudes the aura of a boss with ease.
“When [producer] Stargate and I were approached with the task, we viewed it as a challenge.’Can we make a song for Lindsay Lohan that people were gonna take seriously?’ I think we did it.”
In the song’s chorus, Lindsay sings, “I’m just a little bossy. I like it how I like it when I like it and that’s how it is.”
“It’s basically about a woman being strong enough to get what she wants when she wants it,” Ne-Yo explains. “In this case, ‘Bossy’ is a term that describes confidence and power.”

Ne-Yo Is Bored With R&B

R&B star Ne-Yo has become “bored” of traditional R&B music, so he plans to take a different approach on his third studio album.
The singer is promising fans new sounds on his forthcoming album, “Year of the Gentleman,” which is scheduled to be released on June 24th, 2008.
He says, “There’s some stuff on there that sounds like something the Beatles might’ve done. There’s some stuff on there that sounds like something Billy Joel might’ve done. I can’t do just straight urban music no more, because to be completely honest with you, I’m a little bored with it. I’m just moving with what music excites me now.”
The So Bored hitmaker is currently on tour with Alicia Keys and Jordin Sparks, as part of the As I Am tour.

R. Kelly has stepped up his bitter feud with Ne-Yo after releasing a diss track called “I’m A Beast”.
In the song, The Pied Piper of R&B addresses his “beef” with R&B singer Ne-Yo, who was dropped from R. Kelly’s highly-publicized Double Up tour after just two performances.
R. Kelly says, “Never been a snitch boy, Never been a bitch boy, Why I gotta hate on you - Look at me I’m rich boy, You a steering wheel - The way you ride my dick boy, You say you a go getter Go get your own shit boy.”

The Derrty Truth has learned that R&B singer Ne-Yo was arrested for reckless driving in Cobb County, Georgia on February 19th.
The So Sick singer was apparently driving erratically and didn’t have a valid driver’s license.
I know Ne-Yo’s mother raised him better than that, and what’s up with that boy’s receding hairline?

Janet Jackson has revealed the cover art for her upcoming album, “Discipline.”
The edgy black and white cover features Ms. Jackson wearing a bondage outfit and long black leather gloves, with her name “Janet” scribbled on one and “Discipline” on the other.
The album is scheduled to be released on February 26, 2008. It features tracks produced by Ne-Yo, Rodney Jerkins and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri.

R. Kelly Better Have Ne-Yo’s Money!!!

Ne-Yo has filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against R. Kelly for breach of contract.
The So Sick hitmaker says he had an “oral agreement” to open for R. Kelly a minimum of 25 concerts, but he was kicked off the tour after just two shows in mid-November.
The young R&B singer claims that he was set to earn $785,000 before R. Kelly flew into a jealous rage, which resulted in his dismissal from the “Double Up” tour.
This lawsuit only adds to R. Kelly’s growing list of legal woes, as he is due to stand trial for child pornography charges in May.
