Pop superstar Michael Jackson has taken his fondness for fancy masks to another level after he was spotted sporting an unusual Zorro-esque disguise.

The 50-year-old entertainer ventured out in Los Angeles on Friday wearing a black fedora, slippers, a black Zorro mask, a long black scarf wrapped loosely around his neck and a light cyan colored tunic.

A crowd of shocked onlookers gathered as Jackson visited a doctor’s office before going shopping at the nearby Arte Antique Shop. He was later seen exiting with bags full of children’s toys, which were presumably for his three kids.

In related news, the former “King of Pop” faces ruin after losing a fortune in court and being forced to sell off his beloved Neverland ranch. “Michael is a broken man,” a source revealed. “He is under the most strain he has ever been in his life. He looks haunted and his face is in ruin. It’s such a sad fall from grace. He is barely recognizable as the king of pop. He looked frail and scared.”

Hip-hop star Akon has revealed that he was left devastated after a duet with Michael Jackson was removed from his new album, Freedom.

The singer had planned to include the duet “Hold My Hand” on his newly-released record, but Wacko Jacko decided to scrap the song due to internet leaks.

“Musically we were on the same level and we wanted it to be special. We wanted it so that when people got my album, it was something that was never heard. But the leak stopped those plans. We will be doing more things together in the future,” he told the Daily Star in an interview.

He explained in a statement, “I want them to be able to put focus on Mike. He is the greatest artist ever. So long as the focus is on him, people are going to ask him about the song he did with me, so then my name pops up in his interview. It works both ways.”

Fallen pop superstar Michael Jackson has converted to Islam and changed his name to Mikaeel, which is the name of one of Allah’s angels.

The former King of Pop, who was raised a Jehovah’s Witness, reportedly became a Muslim after pledging his allegiance to the Koran at a friend’s house in Los Angeles. He was dressed in the Islamic garb and sat on the floor as an Imam was summoned to officiate the ceremony.

Wacko Jacko apparently decided to change his faith after discussing religion with songwriter David Wharnsby and music producer Phillip Bubal, who have both previously converted to Islam. The pair’s new names are Dawud Wharnsby Ali and Idris Phillips.

An insider told The Sun, “They began talking to him about their beliefs, and how they thought they had become better people after they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea. An Imam was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief.”

Former King of Pop Michael Jackson has finally sold his Neverland Ranch to a private company after years of financial struggles.

The Thriller hitmaker had owed $24.5 million in relation to the 2,500 acre estate, which includes a zoo and theme park, until real estate investment group Colony Capital agreed to bail him out.

According to Santa Barbara records, Neverland is now under the control of an investment firm company called Sycamore Valley Ranch that is apparently co-owned by the troubled singer and a division of Colony Capital.

According to celebrity website TMZ.com, the property will be renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch in effort to revamp its image, tinged by the negative press surrounding Michael Jackson’s child molestation trial, which ended in his acquittal in 2005.

However, the 50-year-old singer seemed to be in excellent spirits as he posed for pictures and happily signed autographs for fans.

There was a time when the King of Pop insisted his kids wear masks to protect their identities and preserve their childhoods, but in recent months they’ve been pictured without them.

Michael Jackson is reportedly on the brink of signing an agreement to launch a comeback tour.

According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, the former King of Pop has lined up a 30-date tour taking in most of the major cities around the world.

A celebrity insider tells the publication, “Michael said he wasn’t doing a Vegas residency but was going on a world tour, taking in 30 cities next year. He said he wanted to do it for his kids. He wants them to see what he does, and he wants to take them on the road. He said he was on his way to Los Angeles to finalize the details.”

The 50-year-old singer, who hasn’t toured since he was cleared of child molestation charges in 2005, is currently recording new material for an album at The Palms casino resort in Las Vegas. Apparently, he’ll be heading out on a massive world tour next year.

Janet Jackson has postponed three more concerts on her Rock Witchu tour as she continues to battle a mysterious illness, which was initially diagnosed as “vertigo”.

The pop superstar had to cancel a show in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday. She also pulled out of Sunday’s gig in Atlanta, Georgia and Monday’s show in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The cancelled shows follow previously-postponed dates in Boston and Philadelphia on Wednesday and Thursday.

Her publicist said in an e-mail late Saturday that she became “suddenly ill” and was rushed to a Montreal hospital on Monday night shortly after she arrived for a show. “Janet was hoping to resume her tour in an effort not to disappoint her fans,” the rep said. “However, after arriving in Greensboro, it became evident that she is not fully recovered. A local doctor advised that she not perform tomorrow.”

A statement from the organizers of the Greensboro concert suggested fans “hold on to their tickets pending a future announcement regarding the rescheduled date.” More information about Janet’s Rock Witchu tour can be found out on her official site. Her brother Randy Jackson told a Michael Jackson fansite that his little sister has vertigo, which is a disturbance of equilibrium that causes dizziness or the sensation of falling. He was quoted as saying, “Janet is doing okay, she suffers from vertigo.”

Pop superstars Michael Jackson and Britney Spears partied like rock stars at Ed Hardy founder Christian Audigier’s 50th birthday bash in Hollywood on Friday night.

The pop princess had told the designer she might turn up, but Jacko was a total surprise. And, although the King of Pop didn’t perform, his appearance was met with applause and cheering.

Unfortunately the music megastars, which are both rumored to be in talks for spectacular comeback shows in Las Vegas, didn’t cross paths as Britney left for another party just before Michael arrived.

Fallen superstar Michael Jackson has sworn off women while he concentrates on reviving his career.

The “Thriller” hitmaker is back in the studio working on a new album, and he means business!

A source tells the New York Post, “Michael is producing the album himself and then will sell it to a record company when he’s finished.

“Michael has banned his kids from the recording studio. He realizes this is very important and doesn’t want any distractions.”

The singer, who supposedly had been seeing his children’s nanny, is also putting his love life on hold.

The source said, “He’s not going to be involved in any personal relationships with women until he gets this record done. He’s dumped the nanny - she’s not around anymore.”
