Eddie Murphy only had sex with Mel B three times during their “great love affair,” which led to the birth of his daughter Angel Iris in 2006.
According to the News of the World, Eddie believes that Mel wanted to have his child because the Spice Girl star had promised she was using a contraceptive coil during the three times they slept together.
A family source close to the actor says, “Mel said all the problems would go away if Eddie agreed to her demands for a $9 million house in Malibu plus living expenses for 18 years.”
The source added that Eddie was not in love with Mel and their relationship was never romantic, saying, “That’s why he was stunned when she announced she was pregnant after they split. He truly did not believe it was his child.”
The source adds, “Right from the moment she was introduced to Eddie she was infatuated and started to tell her friends she was going to marry him. It was clear Mel was desperate to be like Posh Spice and wanted a high profile catch like David Beckham.
“She wanted the fame and the fortune and more than anything she wanted a wealthy, A-list husband. Getting involved with Mel was the worst mistake Eddie ever made and he’ll regret it for the rest of his life.”

Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is reliving her rock star past!
The Beckhams have left their three sons in the care of Victoria’s parents, so they can party like rock stars on the Spice Girls’ world tour.
Victoria recently described their life on tour, “We are having the time of our lives. It hasn’t been like this for years — since before our first son Brooklyn was born.
“We’ve had two nights out on the trot (in a row), which have been really messy and we are loving it. We have been lying in every day watching films as we haven’t got the kids. We are behaving like rock stars — late-night drinking on tour.”
When the kids are away, Victoria and Mel B will play!
