Pop princess Britney Spears has been granted expanded visitation rights with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, in a child-custody hearing Tuesday in Los Angeles.
The troubled singer’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, released the following statement after the hearing, “We are so pleased with Britney’s progress, and we are appreciative of the court’s recognition of this progress.”
While there were no changes in custody rights, Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said at a press conference that Britney’s time with the boys will be “more than it has been,” but he would not elaborate.
According to TMZ, The pop star will get three days supervised visitation a week and visitation on Mother’s Day.
Kaplan added, “The court made orders today, they were orders that the parties were able to mostly agree to. It represents a cautious step moving forward.
“We are seeing signs of [Britney’s] progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin … The children are doing great.”
The next progress hearing is scheduled for July 15th.

Pregnant teen Jamie Lynn Spears is so scared of giving birth that she threw up after being shown video footage of a real natural childbirth by her mother.
According to a source close to Spears family, Lynne Spears’ attempt to prepare her 17-year-old daughter for motherhood has backfired.
“Lynne was trying to be helpful,” Star Magazine quotes a source as saying. “She wanted to show Jamie Lynn what a woman goes through giving birth, that it’s a natural and beautiful thing, but all Jamie Lynn saw was the blood — or ‘goop,’ as she called it — the screaming and the pain.
“It was too graphic for her. She flipped out and literally got sick.”
And now Jamie Lynn, who is seven-months-pregnant, is totally freaked out. “She is wondering if a C-section is possible,” the source adds. “She wants to be knocked out and then wake up when it’s all over.”

Britney Spears’ paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, has been bragging to friends about his plans to get the pop princess pregnant.
“Britney is Adnan’s dream come true. He knows that if he has a child with Brit, he’ll be made for life,” one friend of Adnan’s tells Star Magazine. “Adnan is a social climber who uses women to get what he wants.”
But while Adnan may be looking forward to the arrival of a new baby, Britney’s family is not. Papa Jamie has stabilized the troubled singer’s life, and the last thing he and her mom Lynne wants is another grandchild. “Her parents know she can’t handle more children,” says a friend of the Spears family.

Sam Lutfi Drugged Britney Spears

Newly released documents have revealed shocking information about Britney Spears’ restraining order against her longtime companion, Sam Lutfi.
The papers allege that Sam drugged Britney in a bid to control the pop princess.
According to the documents, “He has cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything.”
According to a declaration filed by Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, the night Brit was committed, “Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan, her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve the kids.”
During an argument later that night, Sam allegedly said, “If you try to get rid of me, she’ll be dead and I’ll piss on her grave.”
Lynne also claimed that “Sam told Jackie and me that he grinds up Britney’s pills, which were on the counter and included Risperdal (an anti-psychotic drug for schizophrenia and bipolarity) and Seroquel.”
She adds, “He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain.”
Sam allegedly had Britney taking up to 10 pills a day, so she could see her babies. What a crying shame! They need to lock him up for impersonating a friend!

Britney Spears has been taken to UCLA Medical Center by ambulance and placed on a three-day psychiatric hold.
The troubled singer’s ambulance was surrounded by a convoy of police cars as it left her Beverly Hills mansion, after authorities received a late night phone call from Britney’s psychiatrist.
One officer, who wanted to stay anonymous, said Britney was being taken to “get help”.
Britney’s mother Lynne followed the ambulance in a car with her daughter’s paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
Britney was admitted to UCLA at around 1:30am on Thursday morning, with her longtime enabler Sam Lutfi seen leaving the facility a short time later.
Apparently, Sam Lutfi is calling the shots and Britney’s parents aren’t at all happy about it.
The pop star has been placed under a “5150,” which means Britney is on a three-day psychiatric hold with the possibility of having that extended to 14 days.

Tabloid princess Britney Spears has lost visitation rights to see her two sons after being admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for mental evaluation.
The troubled singer was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday night following a stand-off with police at her Beverly Hills mansion when she refused to hand over her boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline’s bodyguards after a scheduled visit.
Britney is now being held at a nut house under Section 5150, meaning doctors have reason to believe she is a danger to herself and others.
On Friday, a judge awarded KFed “sole legal custody and sole physical custody” of Sean Preston and Jayden James at an emergency hearing.
The temporary order lasts until the next court date on January 14, 2008.
Meanwhile, Britney’s mother Lynne Spears has asked her daughter’s fans to “just say prayers” for the fallen star.

Britney Spears is so furious with her mom for writing a book about her, the Gimme More singer plans to return the favor.
Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, has signed a $1 million deal to write a book on parenting, but the troubled pop star is prepared to publish her own tell-all memoir at the same time.
Britney is reported to have told a friend, “She is trying to make a quick buck. She says she’s not sure if she’ll go through with it — but I can’t really trust her.”
So Britney plans to publish her own side of the story.
She added, “I’m sure she’ll make it look like she was a great mother and all my problems have nothing to do with her. I am tired of other people writing about me. I want to speak for myself. If it ends my career, so be it. People appreciate the truth. I’ll be bigger than ever.”

Britney Spears‘ mother, Lynne Spears, has finally taken some of the blame for her daughter’s train wreck of a life.
“For everything that’s gone wrong for Britney, I blame myself,” says Lynne, to Life & Style (via Page Six). “I didn’t raise my children to have Hollywood careers. This all just exploded in my face, and big dreams became big headaches.”
Lynne Spears is currently working on a parenting book that will take full advantage of her Britney’s down fall. How motherly is that?!

Have You Seen My Mommy?

According to People, Britney Spears has reunited with her mother, Lynne Spears:
Sources say Lynne and Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn flew from Kentwood, La., to Los Angeles Friday evening. On arrival at LAX, the two were mobbed by photographers.
Jamie Lynn, wearing eyeglasses, kept her head low, later covered by the hood of her sweatshirt. Despite the attention, the women made a quiet exit from the terminal, declining to comment or to acknowledge the group.
Around 3 a.m., Lynne paid a visit to her daughter’s Beverly Hills home before driving the two of them to Spears’s new Malibu pad.
Mama Spears to the rescue! Maybe she can talk some sense into this girl…
