Rap superstar Kanye West has revealed that he will be releasing a pair of signature Louis Vuitton sneakers this upcoming summer.
The rapper, who wants to become a fashion intern, was spotted leaving a Louis Vuitton store by TMZ cameras. “I was just showing them my new Louis,” he explained. “I can’t show you too much of that, though. These aren’t coming out until June.”
Mr. West also revealed that he will be focusing on “clothes” in 2009, including a rumored shoe coming out through Nike called the “Air Yeezy”. He will also be releasing pieces from his highly-anticipated Pastelle line of clothing. Not to mention the Kanye x Louis Vuitton kicks that will be released in an all-white colorway this June.

Madonna To Be Named New Face Of Louis Vuitton

Pop superstar Madonna is set to be the new face of French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, according to new reports.
According to Style.com, the Material Girl singer will be the face of the fashion giant’s spring 2009 campaign. An all-star team has been lined-up for the collaboration.
Celebrity fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott have reportedly teamed up to shoot the star for the project.
If the Queen of Pop is chosen, she’ll follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez, Scarlett Johansson and Uma Thurman as the leading lady of the luxury goods company.

Serena & Venus Williams Face Off In Harper’s Bazaar

Tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams are renewing their sibling rivalry in the November 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
The swinging sisters of tennis showcase their championship fashion sense in such designers as Louis Vuitton, Versace and Ralph Lauren as they compete against each other in dresses and high heels in a new photo shoot.
The Williams sisters have faced each other in dozens of professional matches, including this year’s U.S. Open, which Serena went on to win. But who won the fashion face-off?
“I’m sure Serena would say I would win the fashion match,” Venus said. “Venus is so wrong. I mean, I’d win. Come on,” Serena responded.
