Foxy Brown & Lil Kim Sued By Publisher Over Undelivered Books

Hip-Hop stars Lil Kim and Foxy Brown have been sued by publisher Simon & Schuster for not delivering books they were paid to write.
According to The Associated Press, Foxy Brown (born Inga Marchand) was paid $75,000 in 2005 for an autobiography tentatively titled “Broken Silence,” and which was due by February 2006. Lil’ Kim (born Kimberly Jones) signed up in 2003 to write her debut novel by June 2004 and was paid $40,000.
Needless to say, Simon & Schuster wants their money back with interest. Lil’ Kim’s lawyer, Bernard H. Jackson III, responded with the following statement: “We are disappointed that Simon & Schuster has made the decision to file this lawsuit.”
“Kim has had every intention to fulfill her obligations under the agreement from day one but there were certain resources that are standard for any book publisher to provide that we felt were not available in order for her to complete the project. Many attempts have been made to resolve this matter privately by Kim and she still looks forward to doing so.”

Hip-Hop star Lil Kim was recently paid a visit by the repo man for failure to make payments.
The rapper received a stern warning after months of outstanding car payments on her shiny silver Bentley.
In response, Ms. Kimberly Jones told the repo man, “Oh please, get the fu*k out of here. You are so fu*king ridiculous.”
