Justin Timberlake Becomes Beyonce’s Backup Dancer On SNL

Justin Timberlake donned a tight black leotard and black high heels to become a background dancer for Beyonce Knowles’ music video “Single Ladies” in a skit for “Saturday Night Live.”
The pop hunk and “Saturday Night Live” regulars Andy Samberg and Bobby Moynihan mimicked Beyonce’s choreographed routine, but did little to impress the R&B diva in the skit.
“What are you doing?” Beyonce shouted as Justin Timberlake got a little too close for comfort. “We’re grinding,” said one of the other male dancers. “I thought it was obvious!”
The “Bootylicious” singer later performed “Single Ladies” with two real female dancers. The hit single is featured on her third major studio album “I Am…Sasha Fierce” that has been available in retail stores since November 12th, 2008.

Beyonce Says It’s Time For A Black Wonder Woman

Pop superstar Beyonce Knowles has come out and stated that she wants to play Wonder Woman in a new film based on the iconic comic book heroine.
The LA Times reports the singer has already met with reps from DC Comics and Warner Brothers to express her interest in playing the first black female superhero.
“I want to do a superhero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman?” said the If I Were a Boy hitmaker. “And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”
The 27-year-old beauty would love to do some action moves on the big screen, but she has her work cut out for her if she hopes to squeeze into Lynda Carter’s iconic red-white-and-blue bathing suit from the 1970s television show.
“I would definitely have to keep it right for that costume,” she admits. “But I love Wonder Woman and it’d be a dream come true to be that character. It sure would be handy to have that lasso. To make everybody tell the truth? I need that. It would come in very handy.”

Beyonce Knowles’ Thanksgiving Plans

R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles is reportedly planning a big Thanksgiving family celebration after buying a $70,000 ornate table.
The Knight Base Table, designed by Barlas Baylar, was delivered to the singer’s New York City apartment earlier this month. It features a walnut top and bronze legs and feet.
According to Life & Style magazine, the table is so big and heavy — it’s 9 feet long and weighs roughly 800 pounds — that she had to have it craned into her Tribeca home.
However, Mrs. Jay-Z is dreading her first Thanksgiving as a married woman because she feels compelled to cook up a feast. She tells WENN, “I like the idea of being able to cook but I just can’t do it. I have to call my mom and she has to be on the phone the whole time because I’m burning stuff.”

Beyonce Knowles Puts On 20 Pounds With Ice-Cream

Beyonce Knowles put on the pounds to play jazz and blues great Etta James with the help of her favorite flavor of ice-cream.
The sexy singer/actress gained 20 pounds for the starring role in new movie Cadillac Records, and admits she wallowed in butter pecan ice-cream to bulk up.
She says, “I ate a lot of butter pecan ice-cream it when I was preparing for Cadillac Records. I was able to eat as much as I wanted because they wanted me to gain the weight. It was heaven.”
Cadillac Records hits theatres on December 5th while its soundtrack, which includes a cover version of Etta James’ “At Last” by Beyonce Knowles, hits stores on December 2nd.

Beyonce Debuts Her ‘Single Ladies’ Music Video

Beyonce Knowles has released a Jake Nava-directed music video in support of her brand new ladies anthem, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”.
The music video was shot in black-and-white and mostly shows the R&B diva performing her dance moves with two women. They are wearing black high heels and short tight outfits that show off their sexy figures.
“Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” is one of the first singles off Beyonce’s upcoming third major studio album, “I Am…,” which is scheduled to hit stores on November 18th, 2008. The record is co-produced by herself, The Neptunes and Timbaland.
A world tour for the album has been announced. Beyonce will take her show on the road in the Spring of 2009 starting with international dates in Asia, Australia, Mexico, Europe, and United Kingdom before closing the tour in late Summer with shows in North America.

Beyonce Debuts Her ‘If I Were A Boy’ Music Video

R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles has dropped a music video in support of her first single “If I Were a Boy”. Directed by Jake Nava, the music video begins with Beyonce playing a hot cop who switches parts with her in-video husband. “It’s kind of like ‘Freaky Friday’,” she says speaking of the concept behind the music video.
“In the beginning of the video, my husband makes me breakfast and he’s excited about it, and I kind of don’t have time to eat,” the singer says. “As a police officer, I have a male partner and the video goes through our days. My husband’s at work and has attractive girls flirting with him but he declines their advances. I have a guy flirting with me, and I flirt back.”
“It’s about all of the little things that mean so much in a relationship. At the end of the clip, you realize that I was acting out his life and it all starts over again,” the singer explains further. “He was a cop and everything that happened was really him doing the same thing to me.”

Newlywed Beyoncé Knowles has spoken out about her marriage with rap superstar Jay-Z, insisting their love is real.
The R&B diva tells Essence magazine, “What Jay and I have is real. It’s not about the interviews or getting the right photo op. It’s real.”
Beyoncé and Jay-Z, also known as Shawn Carter, tied the knot in a top-secret ceremony in New York City in April earlier this year.

Beyonce Flashes Wedding Ring At Fashion Rocks

Pop superstar Beyonce Knowles sparkled at Friday night’s Fashion Rocks event in New York City with her wedding ring.
This is the first time the “Irreplaceable” singer, who secretly wed rapper Jay-Z on April 4th, has worn the ring to a public event.
According to the jeweler, Lorraine Schwartz, the huge ring features a gorgeous 18-carat emerald-cut diamond that is valued at more than $5 million.
She flashed the bling while performing a duet with Justin Timberlake and a tribute to blues singer Etta James, who Beyonce will play in an upcoming movie called Cadillac Records.

New wife Beyoncé has beef with hip-hop mogul P. Diddy for taking her husband Jay-Z partying in Cannes this past weekend.
According to The Mirror, Diddy kept taking the 99 Problems rapper away from his significant other to enjoy the music at the VIP Room nightclub on Friday night.
An insider says, “Beyoncé’s usually so mild-mannered but she was rolling her eyes as Diddy kept dragging her man off to party.
“She tried to win her hubby back by dancing up close to him but Diddy pulled him onstage and made him watch his raucous rendition of New York, New York.”
Needless to say, Diddy had Beyoncé ready to pull out her hair extensions!
