Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has announced her plans to give up acting, so she can focus on being a full-time mother.

“I don’t plan to keep acting very long. I’m ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day,” she tells BBC News in an exclusive interview. “I’m not so worried that I want to keep this pace up and try to be something and be a celebrity.”

The Changeling actress says she’ll keep working on projects, but “everything comes in seasons,” and she’s ready to put her career aside for her family.

“I don’t think I’ll ever say I’m never, ever gonna work because maybe there’s that interesting project where I feel creative,” the mother of six adds. “I like being home a lot. First and foremost, I have a lot of children, and I need to make sure they’re growing right and they’ve got us there for them.”

Jennifer Aniston’s declaration marks the first time that she has spoken out about the demise of her marriage to Brad Pitt at the hands of Angelina Jolie.

“This interview shows that Jennifer is no longer afraid of Angelina,” a source reportedly told the Daily Mail. “It’s hugely significant. She’s never been this honest or brave in an interview before.”

Angelina Jolie recently confirmed that she and Brad Pitt fell in love on the 2004 set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” At the time, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were still married.

U.N. Peace Ambassador Angelina Jolie has hinted that she may vote for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama this fall.

The celebrity humanitarian recently sat down with the German edition of Vanity Fair magazine to talk about everything from politics to her family. Here are some excerpts from their candid conversation:

Angelina Jolie on why she could be voting for Barack Obama:
“Obama is fighting for international justice, he wants to intervene militarily in genocides abroad, and he wants to close down Guantanamo Bay. They are things which could move me to vote for him, not his roots. Of course, an American president like Barack Obama would be great for my family but would not be a reason to vote for someone.”

Angelina Jolie on why she’s proud of the USA:
“I am very proud of being American, and all my children have got American passports. For me, our family is just what America is - a melting pot, a mixture of many different races and nations. My children should be proud of their Asian and African roots, but that in no way means [is] a lack of respect for the fact that they and their parents are Americans.”

Angelina Jolie on her twins Knox and Vivienne:
“It’s a damned arduous business, and we are often simply whacked out because it is twice as hard with two babies as with one. But it also makes for double the fun. After we flew back from Europe, we were all suffering a bit from jetlag. We were all in bed early, but at half past four, they were awake and making a real racket… Brad took care of them. He said to me, ‘Go back to sleep, you’re back to work in the morning,’ and moved into the kids’ room with them. He is an astounding father, full of devotion… [Knox and Vivienne] have quite similar, stable rhythms. Every three hours they get hungry, then I have to satisfy them. But that’s OK, the two of them are totally sweet. When you see them, you think they were made for each other. They laugh together, they sniff each other, touch each other. It is beautiful.”

Angelina Jolie on struggling to find alone time with Brad Pitt:
“Sometimes, at the end of the day, we try to retire to the bathroom to be undisturbed,” she says. “But then [the kids] hear the water running and want to come in and, yet again, we are all together. But that doesn’t disturb us because they are great kids.”

Angelina Jolie on how fame has changed motherhood for her:
“I would like to have more freedom, especially to have the chance to be more spontaneous with my kids. Would I like to be able to walk through the streets with my kids? Of course. Would I like to be able to wander around Manhattan and buy them an ice cream like other mothers? Of course. But it is not possible. On the other hand, every morning I wake up with the people who are the most dear to me in the whole world. That’s why I don’t feel isolated from that, which is important to me. It helps, of course, that Brad knows all about it, but he’s experienced it even more than me. We often talk about it and try to make the best of things. But I am very grateful for our life and everything that we have.”

Angelina Jolie covers the November 2008 issue of W magazine in a black-and-white shot taken by long-time partner Brad Pitt, which shows the starlet breastfeeding one of her newborn babies.

The fashion magazine features a series of intimate photos taken in the garden of the French château the couple rented over the summer, following the birth of their twins Viviennne and Knox.

Inside the magazine, Angelina reveals how falling for Brad changed her mind about having biological children. Here are some excerpts from the interview:

Angelina Jolie on Brad changing her mind about giving birth to her own children:
“I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do… I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to (getting pregnant). I suddenly wanted to. It’s one of those things you can’t explain.”

Angelina Jolie on Brad seeing adopted children Maddox and Zahara:
“I knew that he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace.”

Angelina Jolie on having three children with Brad:
“I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn’t otherwise be here.”

Angelina Jolie on baring her body for the intimate W pics taken by Brad just weeks after the twins’ birth:
“I’m with a man who’s evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created. He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier.”

Angelina Jolie on Brad being perfect for her:
“[I have] a lot of respect [for Brad. He helps me] to be better and fight hard for the things that I love. I do think that I’m in a good partnership now. I think it just needed to be the right man.”

Celebrity super-couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hit the red carpet at the New York premiere of her new film Changeling on Saturday, which was the Hollywood actress’ first public appearance since giving birth to twins this summer.

The mother-of-six wore a simple black dress and gold-accented heels for the Clint Eastwood-directed movie screening, in which she plays a mother whose son is kidnapped. She said of her role, “Your worst fear is anything happening to your kids. The reason I didn’t want to do the film for a long time … every day I came home, and I was so clinging to my kids. I was grabbing them. And checking them in the night. It scares me.”

However, Angelina Jolie confesses that she was a little hesitant about returning to the spotlight after spending months away from Hollywood. She said, “(I’m) not nervous as much as I just took a deep breath because it¹s been so long. It felt a little strange.” She also said that the secret to her slender post-pregnancy figure is “A good dress!”

Changeling is a 1920s period thriller based loosely on the Wineville Chicken Murders. Angelina plays Christine Collins, a mother who suspects that the boy returned to her after a kidnapping is not her real son. It delves into a city-wide corruption scandal that reveals her true son has been murdered. The movie was well received at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released nationwide on October 31st.

Hollywood power-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie show off Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline on the cover of People magazine’s “Special Double” issue.

Knox and Vivienne were delivered by c-section at the Lenval hospital in Nice, France, on July 12th, 2008.

In an exclusive interview with the magazine, Brad and Angelina offer an intimate look at their growing family.

“It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” the Tomb Raider star says of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, where the rest of the couple’s brood – Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh – have been enjoying a summer of outdoor play on the château’s sprawling grounds.

“[It's] still a cuckoo’s nest,” adds Brad Pitt.

“[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them,” says Angelina Jolie. “It’s sweet – they are little mommies.”

R&B star Alicia Keys has revealed that she wants to follow in the footsteps of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie and adopt a bunch of multi-racial kids.

“I’m not ready to be a mom. But (adoption) is something that is important to consider. That’s what I really admire about Angelina. I think it’s beautiful the way she embraces children of the world,” the Grammy-winning singer said at a special screening of the documentary “We Are Together,” in which she works alongside children of Agape Orphanage in South Africa.

She added, “We are all one. We’re not as separate as we often times think. So I possibly would (adopt), when I’m more in the motherhood stage of my life.”

The 28-year-old is rumored to be dating and planning to marry record producer and business partner Kerry “Krucial” Brothers.

Angelina Jolie is said to be upset after a shocking video of her was leaked on the net.

The footage, filmed in a New York drug den, shows a young Angelina discussing her experiences with drugs and admitting that she killed her childhood pets.

The actress, who recently confirmed that she’s pregnant with twins, is currently in Cannes to promote her new children’s film Kung Fu Panda.

A source close to the Hollywood superstar told the Daily Mail, “The timing couldn’t be worse, particularly as she’s here to talk about a kids’ film. We have known for a while that this video has been on the market and it seemed like the threat of it being released had gone away.

“But the people who have put it out obviously decided that it would do Angie most damage when she was on show in Cannes. It’s not like she can just cancel everything, because she is contractually obliged to do PR for her new movies.

“It is a part of her life she doesn’t want to be associated with. To be perfectly honest, the whole thing has brought back some pretty unpleasant memories.”

Angelina’s partner, Brad Pitt, was unaware of the tape’s existence until last week.

Angelina Jolie has finally put an end to the rumors, and confirmed that she is, indeed, pregnant with twins.

The actress sat down with Access Hollywood for an exclusive interview, in which she expressed her excitement and anticipation of her fifth and sixth child.

She has already adopted three children, Maddox, Zahara, Pax, and a biological daughter, Shiloh, with beau Brad Pitt.

It was recently reported the pair are expecting daughters.

“Brad can’t wait — he absolutely adores little girls,” a family insider told Star Magazine earlier this week. “And Angelina just loves seeing him and the other kids so excited and happy.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly set to welcome twin daughters into the world.

The Hollywood couple are said to be thrilled about adding a pair of baby girls to their growing rainbow family.

An insider tells Star Magazine, “Brad can’t wait — he absolutely adores little girls. And Angelina just loves seeing him and the other kids so excited and happy.”

However, there have been serious medical problems in the actress’ pregnancy. She suffered a horrific collapse and fears the terrifying fall may have harmed her two unborn children.

The source explains, “Angie got out of bed and was halfway across the room when she passed out and fell. Brad heard her hit the floor — hard — and he rushed to her side.

“She came around pretty quickly, and the medical team that has been traveling with her, a doctor and a nurse, got her back into bed and started checking her vitals.”
