Supermodel Naomi Campbell may well have landed herself in hot water after accusing the staff at British Airways of racism.

The catwalk beauty was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and fined $4,500 after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers at London’s Heathrow Airport.

After her sentencing, the 38-year-old made a statement on TV insisting she reacted to racial abuse.

She told the U.K.’s Sky News, “As for British Airways, I don’t apologize. I just think they’re disgusting. I was called a racial name on that flight and that was part of my reaction - again, nothing to do with the police, but yes, from British Airways.

“I was called a ‘gollywog supermodel’. I don’t think that’s really fair - do you?”

Asked who had used the term, which refers to a black rag doll from children’s literature, she responded, “Someone on the flight, not the passenger.”

However, the crew members involved in the dispute have talked to lawyers and are planning to sue the model for libel in an attempt to clear their names.

A source tells The Daily Telegraph newspaper, “Miss Campbell didn’t name the member of the cabin crew who supposedly used this racist word. But it is a serious slur against a small group of people whose identities are now well known within the airline.

“It seems strange that Miss Campbell should only make this allegation after her case was heard. The crew members have talked to lawyers, but their line managers are apparently less keen. They don’t relish the idea of going to court as it will resurrect the whole issue of the lost luggage that BA would obviously now like to draw a line under.”

It has been revealed that Jamie Lynn Spears was inspired to name her newborn daughter Maddie Briann after reading a series of the Madeline children’s books.

The 17-year-old gave birth to her first child with 19-year-old fiancé Casey Aldridge on Thursday at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Miss.

According to the New York Daily News, the first-time mother’s allure with the Ludwig Bemelman classics was the inspiration for her own daughter’s name.

A source says, “Jamie was a huge fan of the Madeline children’s books when she was a little girl and always wanted to name her daughter that.”

Funny guy Mike Myers was shocked when he was diagnosed with excessive masturbation on a recent trip to the doctor.

The Love Guru star was vacationing in Greece when he became ill after eating a bad meal, and claims his doctor was eager to cite the source of his sickness as the comedian’s clamorous affection for sexual pleasure.

He said, “I got sick as a dog. The doctor came, and he was Greek, and he knew that I was a comedian, and he just kept saying to me, ‘You know what your problem is? Too much malaka.’

“And malaka, evidently, is masturbation.”

British trainwreck Amy Winehouse is suffering from a potentially deadly lung disease called emphysema, which is usually caused by heavy smoking and drug taking.

The Back to Black hitmaker’s father, Mitch, confirmed the news after she tested negative for tuberculosis on Friday.

He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper, “She’s got emphysema. It’s in its early stages, but had it gone on for another month, (doctors) painted a very vivid picture of her sitting there like an old person with a mask on her face struggling to breathe.

“With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 percent lung capacity.

“To think this could happen to my beautiful 24-year-old daughter’s life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it. But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her…”

Mitch also claimed his daughter suffered another health scare during her time at the hospital, as a scan revealed a lump in her chest.

He added, “After lots of tests they found a lump in Amy’s chest. A scan has shown it’s not cancerous and there are no traces of cancer in her blood. But they might need to double check. There is a chance she might need a biopsy. If they need to cut the lump out then that will mean a massive and painful operation and a lot of recuperation. At the moment, that doesn’t look likely.”

Amy Winehouse is currently undergoing treatment for her condition, and doctors will soon decide whether she is fit to honor her upcoming performance commitments, including an appearance at the legendary Glastonbury music festival next weekend.

50 Cent Sues His Baby’s Mama For Defamation

Rap superstar 50 Cent is preparing a defamation lawsuit against his baby’s mother for claiming he caused the fire that burned down her Long Island mansion last month.

The In Da Club hitmaker was accused of starting the fire himself in an attempt to force Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of his 11-year-old son Marquise, out of the house.

Shortly after the fire, Shaniqua told the press: “He tried to kill me and his own child. I know this came from 50 Cent.”

But 50 Cent has dismissed the accusations, and his lawyers are now preparing to take action against Shaniqua.

His attorney Brett Kimmel says, “There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods. Besides hurting his reputation, they have a damaging impact on their son.”

In a petition filed in Suffolk County Family court, 50 alleges Shaniqua has “made it practically impossible” for him to speak with or see his son.

The rapper says Marquise’s cell phone had been destroyed in the fire, so he sent his son a new one. However, Shaniqua has “failed and refused to give the cell phone to Marquise. The only way (50) can communicate with his son is to call (Tompkins’) cell phone.”

The petition claims that this is a “willful violation” of their custody agreement, and requests that the courts address the situation. 50’s legal team is scheduled to argue the case in court on Friday.

Angelina Jolie Upset Over “Drug Video” Leak

Angelina Jolie is said to be upset after a shocking video of her was leaked on the net.

The footage, filmed in a New York drug den, shows a young Angelina discussing her experiences with drugs and admitting that she killed her childhood pets.

The actress, who recently confirmed that she’s pregnant with twins, is currently in Cannes to promote her new children’s film Kung Fu Panda.

A source close to the Hollywood superstar told the Daily Mail, “The timing couldn’t be worse, particularly as she’s here to talk about a kids’ film. We have known for a while that this video has been on the market and it seemed like the threat of it being released had gone away.

“But the people who have put it out obviously decided that it would do Angie most damage when she was on show in Cannes. It’s not like she can just cancel everything, because she is contractually obliged to do PR for her new movies.

“It is a part of her life she doesn’t want to be associated with. To be perfectly honest, the whole thing has brought back some pretty unpleasant memories.”

Angelina’s partner, Brad Pitt, was unaware of the tape’s existence until last week.

R. Kelly’s Lawyer Cites “Little Man” In Trial

R. Kelly’s lawyer Sam Adam Jr. has suggested that the R&B star’s head could have been superimposed onto somebody else’s body in the sex tape via CGI.

During the cross-examination of the alleged victim’s best friend Simha Jamison, Adam asked the witness whether she had seen the Wayans Brothers’ film “Little Man.”

He said, “They put the head of Marlon Wayans on a midget and it looked real, didn’t it?”

Jamison replied, “Not really!” causing the courtroom to erupt into laughter.

Adam also showed pictures of a shirtless Kelly and asked Jamison how she knew it was his body on the video.

She replied, “His head was attached to it,” drawing laughter from several jurors.

Adam then asked her if she could see the mole on Kelly’s back in the photo.

“It doesn’t look like a mole,” she said, “A cancerous mole, maybe.”

Even the Pied Piper of R&B laughed at that one.

Witness In R. Kelly Trial Identifies Alleged Victim

Testimony began in the R. Kelly trial yesterday, as a former friend of the alleged sex tape victim took to the stand. Here’s an overview of what happened:

To try to make their case, prosecutors put Simha Jamison, 24, on the stand Wednesday. She said she and the alleged victim were best friends for about 10 years, until their junior year in high school, and that she recognizes her friend as the one in the tape.

When prosecutors asked Jamison if she recognized the man in the tape, she leaned forward in the witness stand, peeked around the corner of the judge’s bench and identified Kelly.

She testified that she and her friend visited Kelly at his recording studio and at a Chicago basketball court dozens of times, starting when they were around the age of 12.

Her friend first introduced her to Kelly as “her godfather,” Jamison said, adding that the singer frequently gave her friend cash gifts — “no less than $100 and no more than $500.”

The R&B star faces up to 15 years in prison if he is convicted of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl, who may have been as young as 13.

The Irreplaceable hitmaker, who was raised to be a devout Christian, can no longer attend her local church in Houston, Texas, because she creates a stir among members of the congregation.

The newly married singer explains, “I can’t really go to church any more, which is a shame. People have come up to me in church during the sermon and, of course, people watch everything I do. They come up and take my picture on their mobile phones.”

She adds, “They’re very nice, but I think God understands if I miss Sunday service.”

Papoose Tried To Bust Remy Ma Out Of The Big House

Jailed rapper Remy Ma was set to tie the knot Monday at New York’s Rikers Island correctional facility, but the wedding was abruptly canceled. Here’s the scoop:

Remy Ma’s jailhouse nuptials were abruptly called off Monday when her rapper groom, Papoose, showed up with a most curious wedding present: a handcuff key.

“A wedding was scheduled today and a visitor to that wedding service was found to be in possession of jail contraband so the wedding was canceled,” a correction official told the Daily News.

“The key that was found today easily opened handcuffs that we and other law enforcement officials use,” the official said.

Now the 29-year-old Brooklyn-born Papoose - real name Shamele Mackie - won’t be able to see his fiancée until November.

The 26-year-old Terror Squad rap princess faces up to 25 years at today’s sentencing for shooting her friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach last July outside a Meatpacking District club.

Update: A judge has just sentenced Remy Ma to eight years in prison for shooting her friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph outside a NYC nightclub. She had faced up to 25 years.
