Angelina Jolie Pictured Breastfeeding On W Magazine
October 10th, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

Angelina Jolie covers the November 2008 issue of W magazine in a black-and-white shot taken by long-time partner Brad Pitt, which shows the starlet breastfeeding one of her newborn babies.
The fashion magazine features a series of intimate photos taken in the garden of the French château the couple rented over the summer, following the birth of their twins Viviennne and Knox.
Inside the magazine, Angelina reveals how falling for Brad changed her mind about having biological children. Here are some excerpts from the interview:
Angelina Jolie on Brad changing her mind about giving birth to her own children:
“I think one of the life changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant. I never felt that it was the right thing to do… I suppose I just looked at him and loved him and just felt open to (getting pregnant). I suddenly wanted to. It’s one of those things you can’t explain.”Angelina Jolie on Brad seeing adopted children Maddox and Zahara:
“I knew that he would never see them as different, and that gave me a certain peace.”Angelina Jolie on having three children with Brad: “I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. It taught me a lot about life, just the process of it, and now we have three other beautiful children that wouldn’t otherwise be here.”
Angelina Jolie on baring her body for the intimate W pics taken by Brad just weeks after the twins’ birth:
“I’m with a man who’s evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created. He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier.”Angelina Jolie on Brad being perfect for her:
“[I have] a lot of respect [for Brad. He helps me] to be better and fight hard for the things that I love. I do think that I’m in a good partnership now. I think it just needed to be the right man.”

‘Time Out New York’ Names Jay-Z Top 40 New Yorker
September 26th, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

Time Out New York magazine has named hip-hop mogul Jay-Z one of its “New York 40″ for its 40th anniversary issue, which honors New Yorkers who have made a positive impact on the city.
The magazine asked the Brooklyn-born MC about other potential selections, such as Nas and Kanye West, for the exclusive list. Here’s what he said:
You’re the only rapper on this list. We were considering Nas but have this 13-year rule: People on this list had to have had an impact in the last 13 years. And Illmatic was 1994. Should we have included him?
Ah, wow! [Laughs] That’s a tough question. [Pauses] Yeah, only because of the impact of that album, when it’s considered one of the best albums ever created, you have to document that. How about Kanye? Has he earned it yet?
He’s from Chicago, but he’s close. I don’t know if he’s had that one album that’s moved the entire culture, but he’s hit it three times in a row. He’ll be on every list one day.
Why is Jay-Z hating on Nas and Kanye West? You be the judge! The interview is in the September 25th issue of Time Out New York magazine on newsstands now.

Aubrey O’Day Is Too Hot For TV In Complex Magazine
September 22nd, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

Danity Kane star Aubrey O’Day is featured on the cover of the October 2008 issue of Complex magazine.
The singer sat down for an interview with Complex magazine to discuss her love for masturbation, biracial porn and the female menstrual cycle.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
So when people hear you’re best friends with Jenna Jameson, they think—
Aubrey O’Day: —I’m going to do sex tapes and porn. Jenna and I never even talk about porn. I think one time Jenna and I had a conversation about having sex on your period.Oh, running a red light?
Aubrey O’Day: Yeah. There was some new guy I was dating, and it was the first time we were going to go there, and he was weird about it. So I ask Jenna for advice and she’s like, “Honey, it’s just a little war paint, who cares?”Is this an uncomfortable subject?
Aubrey O’Day: Oh, it’s fine. I love talking about my period.Well, I suppose it’s something that can be broached with—
Aubrey O’Day: —someone you trust. Or you could just have anal sex.You seem to like to talk about sex.
Aubrey O’Day: I love porn. You love watching it?
Aubrey O’Day: Totally. I watch YouPorn.Do you have a favorite star?
Aubrey O’Day: Jenna Jameson, obviously. Is it weird watching your BFF?
Aubrey O’Day: I watched her before she was my BFF, I don’t watch her anymore. I was actually masturbating one night to, like, Anal Sex Compilation #3 or whatever, and she was in it and I was like, “Oh no!” I had to turn it off. It was horrible. [Ed.—Jenna famously only lets men in the front door, so we’re guessing Aubrey’s a little confused about the title. Up and Cummers #11, maybe?]Guys are always curious about girls and porn.
Aubrey O’Day: I usually watch black guys doing white girls, that’s my little fetish, even though in real life race isn’t a factor for me. Really, I’m more turned on by watching the girls than the guys. I love someone who looks like they’re really into sex.

Lindsay Lohan Just Says ‘No’ To Playboy Magazine
September 21st, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan has turned down a $700,000 offer to bare it all in Playboy magazine.
The Hollywood actress, who posed nude as screen icon Marilyn Monroe in New York magazine earlier this year, insists she won’t be peeling off again for Playboy’s upcoming 55th anniversary issue in January.
A representative for the Mean Girls star says, “If there’s nudity, the answer is no. She’s not going down that road again.”
Playboy’s creative consultant Hal Lifson reportedly wanted Ms. Lohan to pay tribute to ‘60s sex kitten Ann-Margret and her movie “Kitten with a Whip” in a sexy eight-page spread. The film is supposedly one of Lindsay’s faves.

Cassie Is For Comeback In Complex Magazine
August 4th, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

Bad Boy recording artist Cassie graces two ultra sexy covers for Complex Magazine’s August/September issue, which hits newsstands August 12.
The Me & U hitmaker sat down with Complex to talk about her upcoming album, rumored relationship with Diddy and growing up ethnically challenged. Here are some excerpts from their conversation:
Your second album was supposed to have come out a while ago. Why hasn’t it?
Based on my past and how my last album came out, I really need to come back much, much stronger. I wanted to have more personality. Before, I had tracks delivered to me; you pick and you choose, and there’s no personality behind it, nobody knows who you are. I really want to tell a story when I’m doing a song. Vocally, either you like my voice or you don’t. I’m not trying to blow like Mariah, back when she was doing that. What’s the harshest thing that’s been said about you?
“She’s fucking for checks.” I don’t fuck for checks—I’d rather live on the street. But is your single “Official Girl” a marketing ploy to cash in on the rumor that you and Diddy are dating?
Nope. It wasn’t planned. It was just a song I really loved that I heard. Nobody will ever know who “Official Girl” is about. They think it’s about certain people but it’s not. Anything that happens in my personal life is personal. I never actually put anything out there. Nobody’s really known who I’ve dated.Have you seen any of the debates about your ethnicity online? It’s just like Dave Chappelle’s “Racial Draft” sketch.
What’s funny about it is, when I was growing up, I wasn’t confused. I knew exactly what I was. My dad’s Filipino, my mom is Mexican, West Indian, and black—I’m a little melting pot. In school, you were either black or white. Being Asian really wasn’t anything until I got to high school and was modeling all the time, and it was important because it intrigued people. Black people definitely didn’t claim me before. They were like, “Light skin over there, she’s just not for us.” [Laughs.] It’s all perception. The other day, I was at the drugstore and this girl in line was like, “She’s next, the white girl.” I’m not white. I’m not even close.

Seezinz Shows Her Best Assets In Smooth Girl Magazine
July 30th, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

Seezinz from Flavor of Love 3 is pictured showing off her best assets in the August 2008 issue of Smooth Girl Magazine.
During her interview, the reality TV star-turned-model talks about her connection with Flavor Flav, favorite sexual positions and expectations going into the show. Here are some excerpts from the interview:
What were your expectations going in?
I didn’t expect much. I knew that everything was going to be a new experience. I would tell anybody to experience it if the opportunity comes their way. A lot of people think that what you see is what really happened, but people don’t understand the power of editing and how it can shape a situation. The fights that we got into were real, but even that was induced by the producers. A lot of stuff was instigated. But one thing I can say for sure is that the experience gave me a chance to learn more about myself.Do you and Flav have chemistry?
Definitely! I don’t think I would have lasted as long if we didn’t. I’m keepin’ it real with you: He is the sweetest person in the world. There are two sides to Flav. There’s William Dratton and then there’s Flavor Flav. William is the guy who pulls out your chair for you. He takes his gold fronts out before he kisses you. Flavor Flav is the guy who runs down the stairs with the Viking hat on, acting crazy. I got to know both sides of him, and I was attracted to them both.

Tatyana Ali Goes Hollyweird In King Magazine
July 29th, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

Actress Tatyana Ali is starring in the July 2008 issue of King Magazine.
Her interview in the prestigious publication speaks about her upcoming movie Hotel California, being black in Hollyweird, her new album and presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
What are your thoughts on black Hollywood?
It’s kind of like the Wild West out there, and not just for black Hollywood. In a traditional sense, things look bad—there are people out of work, shows aren’t going up and a lot of films aren’t being made, because of the fear of actors going on strike. But I think it’s a real fertile time to stake your claim. With things up in the air, it creates new space for people who are trying to break through, business-wise.

LeBron James Guarantees US Gold Medal Win At 2008 Olympics
July 26th, 2008 | Posted in Magazines

NBA superstar LeBron James is featured on the cover of the August 2008 issue of Time Magazine.
In the cover story, King James guarantees that the United States will win a gold medal in men’s basketball at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Here is an excerpt from the article:
LeBron: “It’s going to be like waking up on Christmas Day,” says James picturing himself on the stand being presented Beijing’s gold medal. “All you dreamed about this whole month was having that bike you wanted, and you get down to your living room — it’s there. It’s like one of the greatest things that has ever happened to you.”
Time magazine: So you’re going to bring a hoops title back home to the U.S., the country that gave birth to the game, reared it and then lost the ball to more graceful global neighbors?
LeBron: “Absolutely,” James responds. Guarantee it? “Absolutely.”
Team USA is a heavy favorite to win gold this year at Beijing, despite not having won a major title since the 2000 Olympics. LeBron James is also listed at No. 1 of 100 Olympic Athletes to Watch, so we’re expecting big things from “the Redeem Team.”
