Spice Girl Mel B has posed in an advertisement campaign for lingerie giant Ultimo.

The 32-year-old singer modeled the label’s latest line of two-piece designs and stiletto heels in a raunchy photo shoot, which took place at a Beverly Hills mansion.

Scary Spice appears to be in the best shape of her life, and not coincidentally, more energized about being the new face of Ultimo lingerie.

She said, “I am over the moon to become the Face and Body of Ultimo lingerie. When Michelle Mone asked me, I was ecstatic. I was so excited, but slightly nervous – I had never modeled lingerie before.

“The photo shoot in LA was fantastic. Ultimo lingerie gives you a superb shape and is so comfortable with sexy styles in every collection. I took every set home with me.”

Heidi Montag debuted her brand new fashion line, entitled Heidiwood, at a Friday night fashion event in Hollywood, California.

The Hills starlet hit the catwalk and presented eight looks from the line as music from her upcoming, as-yet-untitled pop album blared over the sound system of the Hollywood and Highland Center.

After the presentation, Spencer Pratt walked on stage and gave Heidi Montag two dozen long-stemmed pink roses before kissing her on the lips. The Hills pair actually looked like they were in love with each other, opposed to looking desperate for attention.

Though they are not living together, “the bottom line is that we love each other,” Heidi told reporters after the show. “We always have, and we’re just trying to figure out our stuff like every other couple.” …on the edge of your seat? Keep reading!

Victoria Beckham Is A Fashion Failure

Victoria Beckham’s dVb denim collection has been dropped by a string of boutiques after poor sales and complaints about a lack of promotional support.

Effective immediately, the pricey denim will no longer be sold at the popular Fred Segal and Kitson boutiques in Los Angeles.

Kitson owner Fraser Ross has blamed the former Spice Girl’s refusal to do in-store appearances for the commercial failure of the jeans, which sell for over $200 a pair.

He says, “We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn’t. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell.” …on the edge of your seat? Keep reading!

Will The Real Kobe Bryant Please Jump Over This Aston Martin?

Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has outdone himself with his latest signature shoe. The NBA All-Star is featured in a new Nike commercial in which he jumps over a speeding Aston Martin.

In the video, the basketball player holds up his newest signature shoe, the Nike Hyperdunks. The Lakers’ star guard then laces up his sneakers while teammate Ronny Turiaf warns him that what he’s about to do isn’t such a good idea. “Don’t worry, I got this. Come on, bring it down!” said a confident Kobe.

Soon thereafter, Kobe Bryant stands in the middle of a parking lot and completely clears a silver Aston Martin speeding towards him, which was said to be traveling at fifty miles per hour. “I told you!” Kobe told Turiaf, “March 31, 2008, baby! That is how you jump over an Aston Martin boy, that’s how you do it. Hyperdunks!”

Naomi Campbell is set to be let off with a warning after being arrested at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 last Thursday.

The supermodel could have faced six months in jail, but police are reportedly not looking to take any further action against the catwalk star.

She was arrested and removed from a British Airways flight to Los Angeles after allegedly assaulting a police officer, who tried to calm her down when she was told one of her bags had not made it on to the flight.

However, the News of the World reports that the 37-year-old will not face any charges if she agrees to accept a warning.

A police source said: “The Crown Prosecution Service will be consulted, but the expected outcome is a caution.”

Meanwhile, The Sun reports that the anger-management poster child told a friend that her arrest was a result of racism.

Naomi Campbell has been arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport after she allegedly assaulted a police officer.

The supermodel was physically hauled off a British Airlines flight to Los Angeles at Terminal 5, when she became irate after being told that one of her three bags had not made it onto the flight.

Cops were called and she was heard screaming “get off me, leave me alone” before she attacked one of the officers and was taken away to Heathrow police station.

An eyewitness said, “She attacked a male police officer and spat at him and she was taken to the airport police station.”

A Heathrow spokeswoman said, “We can confirm that a passenger was removed by police from a BA flight this afternoon.”

A problem with the baggage handling system at the new Terminal 5 has come under scrutiny recently for losing roughly 20,000 pieces of luggage since opening in March 2008.

David Beckham has revealed that his mother was unhappy with pictures of him posing in his underwear for Emporio Armani.

The advertising campaign featured a black and white photo of the soccer hunk sitting in a pair of tighty whities.

A grinning David Beckham told Jay Leno on the Tonight Show this week that he found it hard to explain the pictures to his mom.

He said: “I was so nervous about doing that campaign because obviously I’ve done photoshoots before, but I’ve never done photoshoots in my underwear.

“I was quite nervous because obviously I knew my wife and friends were going to see it. And my mum was going to see it.

“When the photos first came out, she was the first one to call me and say, ‘What are you doing?’ I tried explaining it to her, but she didn’t really get it.”

Eva Longoria has responded to pregnancy rumors and blamed Victoria Beckham for spreading them.

The Desperate Housewives star has denied reports she is expecting a baby with husband Tony Parker after she was photographed sporting a suspicious belly bulge.

Eva blames the pregnancy rumors on a pair of designer jeans given to her by the Spice Girls singer.

She says, “Victoria gave me a couple of pairs and I love them. They were so tight, my gut was hanging over the top before dinner.

“Then, we came out of the restaurant and I was totally bloated. And now, apparently I have a baby bump!”

King Kong Ain’t Got Nothing On LaBron James

NBA star LaBron James and supermodel Gisele Bundchen are featured on the cover of the April 2008 issue of Vogue Magazine.

LaBron James is the first black male to grace Vogue’s cover in 115 years, but the cover has created some controversy. Many people are upset because of what the cover suggests. Here’s the scoop:

LeBron’s image clearly means a lot to him, maybe even as much as pursuing a championship. And that’s why I can’t understand why he would allow Vogue to feature him with supermodel Gisele Bundchen in such a distasteful manner. LeBron has Gisele in one hand and a basketball in the other. LeBron is dressed in basketball gear, with his muscles flexing, tattoos showing and bared teeth. Gisele, on the other hand, is wearing a gorgeous slim-fitting dress, and smiling. But Vogue’s quest to highlight the differences between superstar athletes and supermodels only successfully reinforces the animalistic stereotypes frequently associated with black athletes.

A black athlete being reduced to a savage is, sadly, nothing new. But this cover gave you the double-bonus of having LeBron and Gisele strike poses that others in the blogosphere have noted draw a striking resemblance to the racially charged image of King Kong enveloping his very fair-skinned lady love interest. Vogue deserves criticism, but more blame should go to LeBron and other black athletes, who need to exercise stricter control of their images. If LeBron is brave enough to wear a Yankees cap at an Indians playoff game, picking up a history book and educating himself shouldn’t cause a strain. As it is, LeBron was the first African-American male to grace Vogue’s cover. Too bad it will be memorable for the wrong reasons.

Why must LeBron James and Gisele Bundchen look like King Kong and Fay Wray?
