Naomi Campbell Escapes Jail After Pleading Guilty

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has escaped jail time after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers at London’s Heathrow Airport in April.

The catwalk beauty was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and fined $4,500 at a court hearing in west London on Friday.

Her spokesman, Alan Edwards, said outside the court that the 38-year-old expressed remorse for the incident and looked forward to telling her side of the story.

He added, “She was concerned about her actions towards the police officers. She has issued a genuine and unequivocal apology to the officers involved.

“She has been sentenced objectively and impartially. Her future is now up to her.”

After former G-Unit member Young Buck blasted 50 Cent and G-Unit at a concert in Tampa earlier this week, the G-Unit boss released an audio tape of Young Buck crying on the phone and apologizing for “getting out of line”. Here’s the scoop:

Buck seemingly sobbed on the phone to 50, apologizing for any uncalled-for comments or actions he may have committed and basically pleaded to be back in the family. 50 coddled him as Buck went on about serious financial difficulties with the IRS. 50 told him everything was going to be all right, he just had to “stay close.”

Former gangsta rapper Ice-T has blamed teen sensation Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em for the death of Hip-Hop.

The rapper-turned-actor believes Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em has “single handedly killed Hip-Hop”.

He says, “Fuck Soulja Boy! Eat a dick! This nigga single handedly killed Hip Hop. That shit is such garbage man. We came all the way from Rakim, we came all the way from Das EFX, we came all the way from motherfuckers flowing like Big Daddy Kane and Ice Cube, and you come with that Superman shit? That shit is garbage. Hurricane (Chris) take them fucking beads out of your hair nigga! Man up. You niggas is making me feel real fucking mad about this shit.”

Jay-Z & P. Diddy Fight It Out At Film Festival Party

Rap stars Jay-Z and P. Diddy reportedly had a war of words backstage during a party at the VIP Room nightclub in Cannes, France.

The “huge” backstage bust-up began when Sean “Diddy” Combs apparently tried to steal the limelight from Jay-Z by taking over the DJ-ing duties.

An onlooker said, “They had a huge long row backstage.

“Diddy wanted to get on stage to DJ and entertain the clubbers – but Jay-Z didn’t want Diddy to steal all the spotlight.

“Jay-Z was shouting at Diddy, saying, ‘No way man, no way.’ and Diddy was shouting back – it was a nightmare for the organizers. In the end, they agreed to both go on stage together and sing New York, New York.”

Jay-Z’s wife singer Beyoncé, who is rumored to be pregnant, was also present at the bash.

The R. Kelly Child Pornography Trial Actually Begins

R&B superstar R. Kelly has had a last-ditch effort to postpone his child pornography trial denied.

The Bump n’ Grind hitmaker’s lawyers submitted a new motion appealing to have the case temporarily delayed due to a recent front-page story in the Chicago Sun-Times, which cited unnamed sources talking about a potential witness.

The article claimed that the potential witness referred to by the defense was paid off by one of R. Kelly’s aides to return an incriminating sex tape to the R&B singer. It is not clear whether Kelly knew about the alleged deal.

However, Judge Vincent Gaughan rejected R. Kelly’s attorneys’ request on Friday and ruled trial proceedings will continue as planned. Jury selection is finally underway after six years of numerous delays.

The 41-year-old has pleaded not guilty to 14 charges of child pornography, which stem from a video tape allegedly showing The Pied Piper of R&B having sex with a 14-year-old girl. He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Lindsay Lohan’s Mugshot Used In DUI Campaign

Lindsay Lohan’s mugshot has been used to launch a national campaign against the use of ignition interlocks, a device that measures drivers’ blood-alcohol level before their vehicle can start.

The full-page ad in USA Today was sponsored by the American Beverage Institute, a restaurant trade association that promotes responsible drinking.

The ABI is against the device, because putting one in every car would signal an end to “moderate and responsible drinking prior to driving”. Lindsay’s image is being used as an example of the kind of “hard-core drunk drivers” the locks are aiming to keep off the roads.

“The reason we used Lohan is because she’s had multiple DUIs (driving under the influence] that have been high-profile,” said Sarah Longwell, managing director of the ABI. “We needed to create the distinction for the public what someone with multiple DUIs looked like, versus a low-blood-alcohol-level first-time offender.”

The American Beverage Institute also said mugshots of other celebrities arrested for DUI will be used in later campaigns.

Dennis Rodman Arrested For Whooping That Trick

Dennis Rodman has been arrested for suspicion of felony domestic battery after apparently arguing with his girlfriend/drinking buddy.

According to TMZ, the former NBA star was arrested at 11:00 PM at a Century City hotel and was released at 4:16 AM this morning on $50,000 bail.

Rodman’s manager, Darren Prince, told TMZ: “Last night Dennis and his girlfriend had too much to drink. When they returned to their hotel they started arguing and a minor altercation broke out where Dennis grabbed her by the arm and left a bruise.”

He added that Dennis’ drinking “has been escalating in the last six weeks due to a nasty divorce and not seeing his children in over two months.”

Thus, Dennis plans to enter a rehab facility upon returning to Florida.

Lindsay Lohan has suffered a relapse while partying with her girlfriend in New York City.

The actress, who spent several weeks in rehab during 2007, was spotted enjoying several rounds of cocktails during a night out this weekend.

The 21-year-old arrived at Times Square’s Hawaiian Tropic Zone on Saturday with Samantha Ronson, who spun records for the club from midnight until 4am.

Meanwhile, Ms. Lohan allegedly drank Grey Goose vodka and Red Bull at a table behind her gal pal’s DJ booth in the second floor V.I.P. section.

Akon Wasn’t Really Locked Up

R&B superstar Akon has been exposed as a total fraud when it comes to his so-called stint in prison.

The singer, who named his record label Konvict Muzik, has claimed he was the “ringleader of a notorious car theft operation” and served a four-and-a-half year prison sentence.

But TheSmokingGun.com has uncovered documents that prove he never set foot behind bars. The published papers reveal that although the Locked Up hitmaker was arrested in 1998 for possession of a stolen BMW, a Georgia court dropped the case.

Hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg has accused presidential hopeful Barack Obama of taking money the Ku Klux Klan.

The rapper reveals, “The KKK gave Obama money. They was one of his biggest supporters… Why wouldn’t they be? The media won’t tell you that. They don’t want you to know that. They just want you to know that this nigger befriended this other nigger who be threatening your values.

“But we all know all presidents lie to get into fucking office. That’s they job.”

However, Snoop Dogg insists Obama will still win the presidential election in November.

He says, “In America’s eyes, that muthafucker’s gonna be president ‘cos (John) McCain can’t fuck with him. Hillary (Clinton) can’t fuck with him. He’s winning over white people, white ladies.”
