Amy Winehouse Arrested Over Drug Video

British trainwreck extraordinaire Amy Winehouse has been arrested for alleged drug use.

The Rehab hitmaker was questioned by authorities about a video obtained by The Sun of her allegedly smoking crack and snorting cocaine.

“Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment,” her rep said in a statement. “She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is co-operating fully with inquiries. The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year.”

After being caught on camera allegedly doing drugs, the soul diva entered rehab in January.

Whitney Houston’s Daughter Attempts Suicide

Whitney Houston’s 15-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina has been hospitalized after attempting suicide, according to the National Enquirer.

The tabloid claims the teenager was admitted to an Atlanta, Georgia psychiatric ward after suffering a mental breakdown.

The incident occurred shortly before her 15th birthday party, when Bobbi Kristina tried to stab her mother before turning the razor on herself.

A family member, Ann Davis, tells the Enquirer, “Bobbi Kristina has been running around drinking and partying, doing what she wants to do.”

Bobbi Kristina’s problem is that she doesn’t want to live with Whitney, so she is now staying at the Peachford psychiatric hospital. …on the edge of your seat? Keep reading!

R&B singer Whitney Houston had a crackhead moment and disappointed fans at the Plymouth Jazz Festival in Tobago on Sunday.

Nearing the end of a 30-minute performance, Whitney Houston’s voice became so raspy that she was unable to hit the high notes of her hit song, “I Will Always Love You.”

And the diva’s horrible voice wasn’t her only embarrassment of the night.

The star, who was reportedly paid $3 million for the gig, gave her props to the audience at the show’s finale, shouting repeatedly, “I love you, Trinidad,” despite performing in the southern Caribbean island of Tobago.

Josh Howard: This Is The NBA On Drugs

NBA All-Star Josh Howard of the Dallas Mavericks has admitted to his drug use.

During an interview on the Michael Irvin Show on 103.3 in Dallas, the basketball player was asked flat out if he smoked marijuana.

He replied, “Yeah, but only in the offseason. I don’t let it affect basketball.”

Howard also said that “a lot of people have that problem” and speculated that most of the players in the league “have to have it.”

He added, “What can I say? If you can do it and it’s not affecting your everyday life, why stop? If I’m able to do it, but not while I play basketball, it lets you know I can quit whenever.”

If a NBA player tests positive for marijuana, he is placed in a drug counseling program. A second violation results in a $25,000 fine. Subsequent violations result in incremental five-game suspensions. Howard better get his checkbook ready!

Amy Winehouse To Be Arrested For Assault

Pop star Amy Winehouse will be arrested later today after attacking a man during a drug fueled rage earlier this week.

The singer is set to talk to Scotland Yard detectives after a 38-year-old man filed a complaint with the Kentish Town police and alleged she assaulted him.

The Rehab hitmaker is said to have head butted a pub-goer who attempted to help her get a taxi, because she thought he was trying to molest her.

She was also alleged to have punched a second person in the face.

Amy’s rep said, “Amy Winehouse will be voluntarily attending a London police station today by appointment with the police.

“We understand that she will be questioned in connection with an alleged incident in Camden in the early hours of April 23 2008.”

One of the men Amy is accused of attacking, Mustapha el Mounmi, said, “I feel so angry. She smashed my face hard. I could not hit back — she’s a woman.” …on the edge of your seat? Keep reading!

Amy Winehouse and husband Blake Filder-Civil have reportedly been offered $2 million for a tell-all book detailing their rocky marriage.

The Rehab singer is in talks with publisher Penguin after her incarcerated husband agreed to the idea.

An insider tells The Sun, “They are prepared for it to be warts and all.”

The couple wed in May of last year while vacationing in the United States. Hopefully, they’ll divorce while going cold turkey in rehab.

Blake Filder-Civil is currently in London’s Pentonville jail awaiting trial for assault and perverting the course justice.

50 Cent Is Getting High Off Life

Rap superstar 50 Cent recently sat down with MTV News to discuss former G-Unit member Young Buck’s retort record, “My Interview,” which addressed allegations about Buck’s supposed drug habits. Here’s the scoop:

“I knew he was gonna do that,” 50 reiterated on Sunday on the Brooklyn set of the G-Unit’s videos for “I Like the Way She Do It” and “Rider Pt. 2.”

“Well, Buck, he doesn’t think very clear,” Fif added. “He has things to help him not think clear — not using a sober mind when you’re doing things. I knew he would do that first, because he felt if he mentioned the things that people said he did in a song, it would defuse [perceptions of him]. He said, ‘Yeah, I sip syrup. Yeah, I did this. I did things wrong.’ If you say it in the music, [the fans] can accept it, because they had stars prior to this use drugs. They don’t have a problem with Amy Winehouse. There is a lot of other rock stars who use drugs and shit like that. I don’t see how they would feel that that’s unacceptable. Some of their favorite rappers are sipping syrup. Me, personally, I don’t do it. I’m getting high off the situation of accomplishing my goals.”

50 also discussed his mistakes in dealing with Young Buck and The Game, saying, “I blame myself for overextending myself. I didn’t have to treat them like they family.”

Young Buck has responded to 50 Cent’s allegations that drug problems (including cocaine and syrup) and inconsistent behavior were among the reasons why he was kicked out of G-Unit.

The former G-Unit soldier opens up about some of the recent issues in his new song, “My Interview.”

He raps in the opening verse, “Damn right I’m sipping syrup, flipping birds to get what I deserve.

“And I hear the same things that you heard/ That ‘50 kicked him out’ or ‘Buck sniffs coke and he flips out’/ It’s too late, the whole world know what I be about/ Shit, I do make mistakes like any other man/ Shit, I recoup off an album, quicker than you can … Am I loyal? Dr. Dre can answer that for ya.”

Young Buck goes on to make biblical references to Cain and Abel. He even ends the song with a sermon-like rhyme, admitting, “I had my hand and nose in the ‘D.’”

Whitney Houston is standing strong, according to her cousin Dionne Warwick, in the face of explosive allegations made by former husband Bobby Brown in his new autobiography.

Dionne Warwick told People Magazine, “Whitney Houston is back!

“I’m thrilled that she’s in the studio and working on her new album. No doubt she’s overcoming everything that has been put in front of her even this week.”

Apparently, Whitney was in the studio working on her comeback record alongside music mogul Clive Davis, when she learned that Bobby had dished the dirt on their marriage, including allegations of her drug use.

Clive Davis said: “She was just in the studio this week working on a song called Nothing but Love when she heard of all this mess in the papers.

“I’m sure that this week has been traumatic but she’s committed and looking forward to her new life.”
