Rap star Young Jeezy has been implicated in a major cocaine-dealing ring, according to Atlanta’s alternative newsweekly, Creative Loafing.
Prosecution witness Ralph “Ralphie” Simms, who testified in the federal cocaine-conspiracy case against alleged Black Mafia Family member Fleming “Ill” Daniels, told the court on Thursday that Young Jeezy was on the receiving end of multiple kilos of cocaine from BMF, a criminal organization accused of selling hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of drugs across the country.
“Ralphie” testified that he worked for the Black Mafia Family and that his duties included unloading the gang’s cocaine from limousines with secret compartments. He told the court that he’d pile hundreds of bricks of coke in various stash houses.
One incident, in 2004, Simms said he was ordered by high-ranking BMF members Chad “J-Bo” Brown and Martez “Tito” Byrth to set aside multi-kilo cocaine “shipments” for two customers. One of them, he said, was “Jeezy.”
According to testimony in Fleming Daniels’ trial, BMF only dealt in multiple kilos of cocaine, which were distributed to other cocaine dealers. I guess they don’t call Young Jeezy the “Snowman” for nothing!
