Ashanti Opens Up About Her Relationship With Nelly

R&B singer Ashanti has been tight-lipped about her relationship with rapper Nelly, but she recently opened up to People magazine.
The 27-year-old told reporters, “Me and Nelly, we’re good friends. We kick it – hang out a lot.
“The industry is very hard, so it’s good to have fun and lighten it up.”
Ashanti also addressed rumors that she and the rapper are engaged to be married.
Holding up a ring-free left hand, the singer told the press, “Oh no. Noooo! No engagement.” Then she added with a devilish smile, “But definitely in the future. Ha! Ha!”
