Naomi Campbell To Face More Turbulence Over Airport Racism

Supermodel Naomi Campbell may well have landed herself in hot water after accusing the staff at British Airways of racism.
The catwalk beauty was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and fined $4,500 after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers at London’s Heathrow Airport.
After her sentencing, the 38-year-old made a statement on TV insisting she reacted to racial abuse.
She told the U.K.’s Sky News, “As for British Airways, I don’t apologize. I just think they’re disgusting. I was called a racial name on that flight and that was part of my reaction - again, nothing to do with the police, but yes, from British Airways.
“I was called a ‘gollywog supermodel’. I don’t think that’s really fair - do you?”
Asked who had used the term, which refers to a black rag doll from children’s literature, she responded, “Someone on the flight, not the passenger.”
However, the crew members involved in the dispute have talked to lawyers and are planning to sue the model for libel in an attempt to clear their names.
A source tells The Daily Telegraph newspaper, “Miss Campbell didn’t name the member of the cabin crew who supposedly used this racist word. But it is a serious slur against a small group of people whose identities are now well known within the airline.
“It seems strange that Miss Campbell should only make this allegation after her case was heard. The crew members have talked to lawyers, but their line managers are apparently less keen. They don’t relish the idea of going to court as it will resurrect the whole issue of the lost luggage that BA would obviously now like to draw a line under.”

Madeline Children’s Books Inspired Jamie Lynn Spears’ Newborn Daughter’s Name

It has been revealed that Jamie Lynn Spears was inspired to name her newborn daughter Maddie Briann after reading a series of the Madeline children’s books.
The 17-year-old gave birth to her first child with 19-year-old fiancé Casey Aldridge on Thursday at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Miss.
According to the New York Daily News, the first-time mother’s allure with the Ludwig Bemelman classics was the inspiration for her own daughter’s name.
A source says, “Jamie was a huge fan of the Madeline children’s books when she was a little girl and always wanted to name her daughter that.”

Mike Myers Accused Of Excessive Masturbation

Funny guy Mike Myers was shocked when he was diagnosed with excessive masturbation on a recent trip to the doctor.
The Love Guru star was vacationing in Greece when he became ill after eating a bad meal, and claims his doctor was eager to cite the source of his sickness as the comedian’s clamorous affection for sexual pleasure.
He said, “I got sick as a dog. The doctor came, and he was Greek, and he knew that I was a comedian, and he just kept saying to me, ‘You know what your problem is? Too much malaka.’
“And malaka, evidently, is masturbation.”

Crack Kills: Amy Winehouse Has Emphysema

British trainwreck Amy Winehouse is suffering from a potentially deadly lung disease called emphysema, which is usually caused by heavy smoking and drug taking.
The Back to Black hitmaker’s father, Mitch, confirmed the news after she tested negative for tuberculosis on Friday.
He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper, “She’s got emphysema. It’s in its early stages, but had it gone on for another month, (doctors) painted a very vivid picture of her sitting there like an old person with a mask on her face struggling to breathe.
“With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 percent lung capacity.
“To think this could happen to my beautiful 24-year-old daughter’s life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it. But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her…”
Mitch also claimed his daughter suffered another health scare during her time at the hospital, as a scan revealed a lump in her chest.
He added, “After lots of tests they found a lump in Amy’s chest. A scan has shown it’s not cancerous and there are no traces of cancer in her blood. But they might need to double check. There is a chance she might need a biopsy. If they need to cut the lump out then that will mean a massive and painful operation and a lot of recuperation. At the moment, that doesn’t look likely.”
Amy Winehouse is currently undergoing treatment for her condition, and doctors will soon decide whether she is fit to honor her upcoming performance commitments, including an appearance at the legendary Glastonbury music festival next weekend.

Rap superstar Kanye West has written a post on his blog about the Ice-T vs. Soulja Boy beef. The Stronger hitmaker came to the defense of the 17-year-old rapper and said:
Soulja boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is sposed to be. He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain’t Hip Hop then what is? A bunch of wannabe keep it real rappers that ain’t even relevant, recycling samples trying to act like it’s 96 again and all they do is hate on new shit? Old school rapper Ice-T has apologized to new school rapper Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em for telling him to “eat a dick”.
The “Cop Killer” hitmaker says he’s sorry for the comment, but Soulja Boy’s music is still garbage.
In a video posted on YouTube.com, the rapper-turned-actor alludes to a possible war between “Good Hip-Hop vs. Wack Hip-Hop”.
As the general of this war, Ice-T orders his son into battle. The 16-year-old then tells Soulja Boy to “eat a dick” because his music is wack.
You know what they say: “Like Father, Like Son”. SMH.

Life & Style Magazine reports: Nick Cannon worked on the set of wife Mariah Carey’s video shoot for her single “I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time” in Oahu, Hawaii, on June 9. But instead of co-starring as Mariah’s love interest, Nick, 27, assisted the pop star between takes.
Some close to the couple fear Nick’s subservient status is a sign the couple’s union is headed for trouble. “I give the marriage six months, tops,” reveals an insider close to Mariah. “I can’t see it lasting.”
When asked to give her opinion on the quickie marriage of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Divorce Court’s Judge Lynn Toler said, “In general three to four weeks is not enough time…if they are that in love they can wait 6 months.”
