Diva Is The New King: Mariah Carey Tops Elvis

Mariah Carey has surpassed Elvis Presley’s record for the most No. 1 singles and is now second only to the Beatles.

The pop diva’s single “Touch My Body” made a 15-1 jump on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, giving the singer her 18th chart-topper.

Regardless of the accomplishment, she said: “I really can never put myself in the category of people who have not only revolutionized music but also changed the world.

“That’s a completely different era and time … I’m just feeling really happy and grateful.”

Mariah Carey’s new album “E=MC²” drops on April 15, and she’s on track to surpass the Beatles’ record of 20 No. 1s before the record runs its course.
