Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz Get Engaged - Let The Hating Begin!

Ashlee Simpson and her rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz are engaged to be married.
The happy wife-to-be announced her engagement to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz in a statement on the website Friendsorenemies.com.
She said: “We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best.
“Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes - it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and to hear it straight from us.”
The lovely pair started dating in late 2006 and revealed to family and friends that they want to get married sooner rather than later.
A family source said: “They are ecstatic and can’t wait to be man and wife. They will be getting married before the end of the year.”
