50 Cent has been sued by the mother of his 10-year-old son for trying to evict them from their home in Long Island.
The lawsuit was filed by former girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins, who claims the 32-year-old rapper broke a promise to buy her a house of her own.
Tompkins’ lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, says the artist promised to buy the $2.4 million Dix Hills mansion for his client, but he reneged just prior to closing the sale on the property.
Though the house officially belongs to 50, Shaniqua wants the court to “declare” that she has a “right” to live in the house.
On top of that, she already receives court-ordered child support every month from the rapper. A publicist for 50 Cent refused to comment on the matter.
